in my opinion, this is the best warrant record out there. although the band has many good records, they kept taking their sound to the next level, and they peaked here. it's 1995, and the band mixes their signature sound with the alternative sounds that were helping bands like stp, bush, and collective soul sell millions of records.unlike most bands of their era, warrant had no problem trying to stay current and expand their sound. ultraphobic is proof that if it's done right, and sounds good, bands can escape the musical boundaries unfairly put on them by the media and so called fans. warrant should be proud.
