Ultimate Weight Solution Food Guide by Dr. Phil McGraw (2003, Paperback)

Even if you are not a Dr. Phil fan, but have struggled to get and keep the weight off- then you should try this fool proof book! Dr. Phil makes it nearly impossible to keep that weight you so want to get rid of. With pre planned meals, and a step by step guide of what to eat, when to eat, and how to get up and motivate yourself to move those pounds away, it is sure way to not only get off but keep off the weight!

I decided to buy this book because I wanted to lose the 20 pounds that I had gained after I quit smoking. I admire Dr. Phil and Robin and all of their work. This book is awesome. I haven't really had a weight problem in my life, this is my only obstacle until now luckily, but I have heard from plenty of friends about the struggles of weight loss. Dr. Phil's book makes everything down to earth and possible. It isn't like you eat only lettuce for a month, you do change what you eat but its something that you want to do. And not only now, but for the rest of your life. It's great book.

I was watching the Dr. Phil show and he was talking about dieting and eating right and had mentioned all this inof was in his book and I found a lot of what he was saying very informative and decided I wanted to read more on the subjet and what I should eat and how much.

WOW - every food known to man is listed in this guide - very comprehensive and a great tool to guide you in your weight loss!

I have watched over the years my mother struggle with her weight. As a young girl my mother couldnt do much with us. There was no zoo, because my mother could not walk the zoo. No bike rides, No swimming, she felt left out. Dr. Phil has helped her in ways that cannot be explained this book is great. She wasnt able to do things with her 4 girls, but now with her grand children she makes up for it.

Dr. Phil is very clear on the steps to take and put you on the right track for weight loss.The book is full of the right foods to eat. I feel the information given is good and it is up to you to use it in your life as needed.

I really haven't had alot of time to sit down to really look at the book in detail. I know Dr.Phil has great stuff & wouldn't promote this book if it wasn't good. I just recently started watching his show on a regular basis so there's still things I'm learning. This book & his other 2 books that go with this guide do work hand & hand. I didn't know he had 3 books out about weight loss which included recipes,food guide w/carbs guide & so on. I'm learning alot about weight loss & how important it is to loose weight & get a grip on it esp. from his show & his books. I would start w/ The Ultimate Weight Solution~~the 7 keys to weight loss FREEDOM!! I'd start w/this book 1st then get his recipe book along w/the food guide. You won't be disappointed at all w/ his books!! If you're 15 pounds or more over weight buy his books 1st before doing anything else. Learning to eat right is the 1st thing to weight loss bec' we all need understanding & knowledge which are so powerful then exercising after that~~they all work together!!

This is a helpful book if you are activly working the Ultimate Weight Solution. It is very detailed.

Very helpful. I haven't found a food/drink that I needed to look up that wasn't there. I like that it gives you all the important breakdowns of a food. I definitely recommend it if you are trying to watch your weight or the specifics of a certain food/drink.

First of all, I have to state that I'm probably Dr. Phil's second biggest fan (Oprah Winfrey, of course, being his first and foremost biggest fan)!!!! That being said, this is a no nonsense, common sense, book; written in layman's terms so EVERYBODY can understand it. It is sooooooooo EASY to apply and follow the guidelines he sets forth it isn't even funny. This book goes hand in hand with his Ultimate Solution Weight Loss book, and if you'll just follow what the books recommend, the weight will drop off!

was not expecting paper back book was disappointed with that. I thought that it was a hard copy not paper, but the book was what i wanted i ordered it and received it in good condition. i did not like sending a check for the purchase.

Dr. Phil is an equal opportunity educator and you really get a sense of his genuine concern for the American diet as a whole.
