Ultimate Sacrifice by Lamar Waldron, Thom Hartmann (2005, Hardcover)

Finally a book that can give an answer to the question "why was JFK killed?". While avoiding wild speculation (i.e.,an umbrella with a super small gun, or a secret service agent accidentally shooting JFK--ugh!), and sometimes becoming a bit repetitive in it's basic explanation, this book is nonetheless the closest thing to the truth to yet appear on bookshelves. The stunning revelation that the Kennedy brothers planned another Cuban invasion is shocking in itself, but the idea that the Mafia-CIA connection used this plan to kill JFK hits you like a rock. It forces you to face the fact that although the "MAfia angle" has been beaten to death, the idea of MAFIA involvement has never been poo pooed totally. Here, it makes it more convincing without painting the Mafia into "sole responsibility". In fact, although Barr Mcclelland book Blood, Money and Power pointed to LBJ masterminding the killing, I'd have to say Ultimate Sacrifice even puts that well written book to shame. A rather incredible piece of investigative journalism. If you believe Oswald "did it" after reading this, I have to question your motives--or your sanity. Marvelous work!

I purchased the book for my sister as she is an gifted reader and she had been unable to find either the soft or hard cover version of it. I still have been unable to find the soft cover. Thank you for having it on ebay.
