Samantha the Weimaraner flipped her stomach, and A&M Vets at College Station, Tx saved her. However, needed to find special treats without unknown products or chemicals in her snacks she loves to get. This dog treat book is great. She loves the peanut butter snacks, and learning how to dip her treats in chicken broth and bake again like a biscotti is wonderful. 12 year old Max, loves the smaller custom sized treats for his tender old mouth. Very diversified. If I have an ingredient in mind, this book has it. Yes, you can go on the internet and print any recipe. However, love to have a recipe book right in front of me that I do not have to go find, print, use, and then figure out where to put that sheet of paper until the next time I need it in the kitchen. Book is there. This book is current seller at Petco at 5X the price.

Best of all, my four legged kids love the freshly made goodies. I would recommend this cookbook to anyone who loves to cook and wants to do something healthy for their dogs.

Doggone Good BookI borrowed this book from a local library and loved it so much that I had to own it. Easy recipes from ingredients in your pantry to make tasty treats for your dog much cheaper than petstore or gourmet dog store prices. Treat your best friend today and buy the book!

I have been looking for recipes to make for my family pet and loved this book! The recipes included were extremely easy and fun to make. I made several of the recipes for a puppy birthday party I was going to and passed them out to friends and family to give to their furry family member and the dogs could not get enough of them.
I loved being able to make something for my pet that was healthy and not loaded with preservatives and fat. Making homemade treats is a great way to go to ensure that your pet is eating healthy and nutritious foods. I would suggest this book to anyone who would like to focus more on their pets health and happiness.
All of the recipes included are made with simple products that can be found in your own pantry without numerous trips to the market. If you are looking for a simple way to make homemade treats for your furry family member this is the way to go!!
