The Ugly Truth (DVD, 2009)

LMAO!!! This was a FUNNY movie. Kinda classic love story in a NOT so classic style. Some things were a little crude, but I suppose can be overlooked for the greater good of the movie.

Perfect purchase! Was in desperate need of this movie for a gift for my daughter. Everyone seemed to be sold out of this particular movie so we looked on eBay and found it for much less....and that was WITH shipping too! Got here in plenty of time for Christmas! Perfect eBayer! Recommend to anyone!

I absolutely love this movie, katherine hiegel and gerrard butler are an amazing duo in this hilarious comdedy/romance.

i like that although it was opened it played and had no scratches. the item was in great quality and plays awesome.

Love Gerard Butler and Katherine Heigl was great in 27 Dresses. Very funny and entertaining. The pair have great chemistry. A real feel good romantic comedy. Loved every part of it.
Can't wait to watch it the ninth time! How sad is that!!!!

I was so looking forward to this movie; liked the female lead in Gray's Anatomy. Turns out the sexual innuendo is thick and the out and out filth coming from the male lead is sickening. This could have been an enjoyable movie without all that, instead by the end of the first 40 minutes I had had enough and turned it off.

I did not receive this movie after I paid for it. Did not get my money back either. Ebay said that someone had hacked into the computer and had caused problems.

I bought this DVD for one reason and one reason alone: Gerry Butler. His appearance in a film makes it worth the DVD's MSRP. As for his vapid, charmless co-star here (whose name happily escapes me), I can either take or leave her alone -- preferably the latter. Same will likely be true (sooner than later) for the rest of the American DVD-buying public as well. Oh, yes: Katherine Heigel, is it? Well, no matter. The film, for me, is about seeing Gerry. Is "The Ugly Truth" his best film to date? No, but does this concern me greatly? Also no. Mr. Butler remains a completely charming, funny, occasionally dark, but always deeply interesting actor. For better examples of this, catch his stellar performances in "Phantom Of The Opera," "Dear Frankie," "One More Kiss," and "P.S.: I Love You." He's truly marvelous. Commercial over; thank you.

i seen the ugly truth in theathers and woulda paid to see it again if i had a ride there very funny movie but really not the type you wanna watch with your kids home VERY fnny tho! cant wait till they ship my movie so i can watch it again!

NOT good entertainment... NOT good story.. NOT worth watching !! Very dissapointing and to think I actually paid for this movie. I thought it would of been fun and funny. I found it to BOLD and offensive. Not everyone needs to hear about or listen to nasty sex talk.. shame , waste of money

Well, I have seen it at the movies. However, when I saw it on ebay I wanted it and wanted it for it's lost price. I love everything about the movie. Gerald Butler is a remarkable character and actor. Did I mention a very attractive man as well.

After renting it first I bought my own copy as I knew it was one I wanted for my personal DVD collection. I really enjoyed this movie. Although many would call this a chick flick before watching it, I think this one would have more appeal to a male audience than your typical chick flick and more men could relate to this movie. The characters were believable and they had good chemistry.

I bought the dvd The Ugly Truth right away I seen that it was in the condition in which they said it was. It was brand new, and it was cheaper than going out to buy at a store. The shipping was great I got it the day i expected three days after I ordered it.

Although there is some strong sexual language and content at times, the movie is enjoyable. I liked the actors and thought that they worked well together. There are several scenes that made me laugh out loud. I had seen the movie in the movie theater and thought it was worth buying.

Such a funny movie! Definitely a must see. Considered a chick flick, but even guys will love this one!

I thought it was a funny movie. I had already seen it on pay-per-view and wanted to own it. It was a good light-hearted movie that used humor to poke fun at the differences between woman and men.
