UTStarcom Blitz (Verizon Wireless)

I have been looking for a phone that could keep up with my schedule but would not have me wasting time trying to figure out how to work it. I really wanted something with a full keyboard but nothing that required a data plan. I loved the fact that this phone is so little but yet it has so much to offer. It is one of the hottest phones that just came out and the best thing of all is that it has speaker phone! I decided to treat myself and finally get a phone that I will fully enjoy as well as make use of all the great features!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this phone! I received this phone for Christmas 2008 and had to buy a 2nd one for my husband and a 3rd one for my daughter (which I purchased on eBay).

I'm a novice when it comes to texting but this little beauty has made it a breeze!

Things I LOVE about this phone:

1. The size= fits in my jeans pocket
2. Fuctionality= great sound reception, great texting ability, great camera, very easy to use
3. Cosmetic= attractive
4. battery life= maintains a charge for days!!
5. no additional carrier fee to use (i.e. Blackberry monthly charges)

Things I don't love about this phone... and there is only one:
1. Sometimes when I carry this phone in my purse and the keypad is locked, it will still connect to the internet. I wish the locking keypad were truly locking and not as sensitive as I have found it to be (i.e. easy to unlock the keypad without really trying). NOTE: This never happens when I carry the phone in my pocket but only when I have it lying in my purse.

OVERALL, this is a GREAT phone and I would highly recommend it to all my friends and family.

I really enjoyed this phone while i had it. it was easy to use and had all the things that i wanted a music player and texting. But three days after i activated it, i left it in my pants and put it through the washer. Needless to say it didnt survive. But it was and awesome phone.

He lied on his advertisement..the phone was a prepay and he did not disclose this information. Said the phone would work like normal!

I bought this Blitz after I washed my other one in the clothes washer - hot water, full wash, full rinse. It had water behind ther screen, dripping out of the headset plugin. I took the battery and sd card out, put the phone in a container with dried rice and forgot about it as I sought the replacement. Three days later, the old Blitz looked dry so I put it back together and powered it up, and it worked perfectly! Add that war story to the fact that the phone has great reception, all extras work and are easy to use, and you have a great phone. Cons are that it is a little bigger than other models and it doesn't do video, but other than that I don't think there is a better phone out there.

The phone was shipped in perfect condition. It was the best choice for a phone. It is small, lightweight yet has a lot of the features that I like including the Qwerty texting keyboard.

I bought this phone for my daughter as she is an avid texter. She loves this phone and how quickly one can text. She also love its size and how it fits percfectly into her pocket.

Nothing compares to the LG Chocolate! The Blitz is a very good phone, I am just in love with my old phone. I had to replace my phone when it broke (reason why I went to ebay).

This seller took my money and never sent me the item and would not answer any of my messages. Do not buy from him.

I wanted a good phone that i would enjoy, and this is it. Its great! I love it One of the best phones out there. I love how you can download music from cds and itunes on to it. Its perfect for my lifestyle. And makes texting incredibly easy with the slide out keyboard. Its small and compact for easy handling.

I like the phone because its small and it slides out to a qwerty keyboard. I decided to buy it because i had a touch phone the LG Dare but when i would need to text i found it uncomfortable because it wouldnt detect the right letter sometimes.

the phone turned out to not be compatible with my existing verizon number and account, so i had to return it

I bought the phone for my son 3 weeks ago. We have no complaint about this phone. My son is very happy with it. I would recommend it to anyone.
It was shipped as promised.

We recieved the phone quite quickly, but it had no charger and we were told by Verizon that the battery was dead and would need to be replaced. Suddenly the good deal on the phone became very expensive. We contacted the seller and she kindly agreed to return our money when she recieved the phone. I sent the phone the next day, but 6 weeks later she has not returned our money or replied to the emails I have sent inquiring about it. So, now she has the phone AND our money. This is the very reason I am leary about shopping online!

Would rate higher, but the ear piece sound isn't as good as I'd expect and the buttons turn things on accidentally while in my pocket, and battery life is terrible in the sense that it doesn't hold a charge worth a flip. Get a usb adapter to hook for car charging because you will need to use the supplied extra usb cord for that very purpose.

Overall i still enjoy this phone and plan to keep using it until time to renew!

This phone is great if you love to text. The buttons are a little small so i would recommend it more to girls bacause of this. I love how i can save my music on it. It doesnt receive video thats the only downside. But its really small and compact .. you can easily fit it in your pocket..

Excellent buy it was much less than if I would have bought it anywhere else. Seller was very accurate in desription.

I bought a Blitz for my grnaddaughter last May and she's in crosscountry where she is going to school. I think sge might have dropped the phone and it fell apart! I have insurance coerage in my phone plan and to replace the phone, it was going to cost $89.00 plus S & H. So, I went on E Bay and found the same phone, won the bid @ $74.00! Saved me $15.00! I have received the phone today, got it activated and waiting for my grand daughter to come bk from her State XC Meet to pu the phone. I like the phone because it's small and has everything in it I have in my Blkberry or PDA Smartphone.
