The UCLA Dynasty (DVD, 2008)

As a kid, I was never a UCLA fan. They won every year. Nobody could ever beat them. It was disgusting. But looking back at it now, through this dvd, it's still disgusting, but, you can really appreciate what John Wooden and his players accomplished. The excellence achieved over so many years with so many different players involved. It was truley amazing. But still disgusting. And to see how much coach Wooden impacted the lives of these players, long after they gradusted from school. Now that is a real coach. great job coach Wooden.

I first saw this at home on my digital cable network and thought: what a better christmas gift for my 56 yr old father! He was in his prime during the Bill Walton era of UCLA and loves both Walton and John Wooden. This documentary is endlessly entertaining for someone who lived through the Wooden era.
