U218 Singles by U2 (CD, Nov-2006, Interscope Records USA)

This is the 2006 release from Dublin Supergroup U2. The 18 singles provide a timeline to Bono and the group's mammoth contribution and legacy to music. As this is strictly a 'singles' album, some U2 favorites such as 'I will follow' are absent. However it's difficult to find fault there when you see the quality of hit singles U2 were able to cherry pick from- The heart-touching 'One' the rocking 'Beautiful Day' and the touching Bono tribute 'Sometimes you can't make it on your own' are just some of the factors that make this such a great album.

I bought this cd for my gf who is a huge U2 fan...This album has everything you need, and the sound quality is fantastic. I would recommend to any music fan

I saw my first U2 concert in 2001 over in the ATL

I have always been a big fan and very upset that I missed the Joshua tree tour. However, I was still in grade school and couldn't convince my parents to take me.

I borrowed some of the tapes from a neighbor and made copies. Later I bought my own.

This CD is impressive. It reminds me of the old songs and the new favorites.

Why I don't advocate buying every CD because now the compilations aren't anything special I do feel that you can't go wrong with this one.

Buy this CD and you won't be disappointed if it is a gift or you are a fan.

I was searching for a CD to listen to, and I stumbled across U2:18. Now the only songs I had heard (and loved) at that time were "Beautiful Day" and "Vertigo". However, I didn't like U2 because Bono made such a strong stance against Napster, which I used to love. Since I've matured a little, I've realized that the man was right all along and I had no reason to not give U2 a fair chance. I picked up this CD and I could say it's the best $14 I've spent on a CD!!! Every song is great. There's a combination of ballad-type songs, mellow songs, and even a couple of upbeat songs you can rock out to!

Bono is such a philanthropist! You can't really find a better way to spend $15 dollars. He definitely uses his profits right, and for charitable reasons.

This has definitely become one of my favorite CDs in my collection!!!

One of my favorite titles. I like this music group. I have been a fan of the group U2 for some many years. I now have many of the great songs on one CD.

I bought this CD and am glad I did.

My boyfriend and I can never agree on music in the car - but this CD solves all of that. It has all the singlas you love, and in the order they are in they just flow from song to song. I honestly recommend this to ANY U2 fan, from hardcore to casual. Great to pump you up for the upcoming tour!

I have always been a fan of this band's work, and I admire Bono's work on behalf of the citizens of the world. I also think they are excellent performers, and was reminded of this when I saw them perform in the Concert at the Lincoln Memorial, in a lot of ways they stole the show. I wanted to find a CD with certain tunes on it, and when I saw this CD on ebay I bid and won it. I will enjoy listening to this as I travel around. If you can find this particular CD, I think you should get it. It is a sampler of their greatest hits.

I bought this CD for my husband, and avid U2 fan. He recently had all of his U2 CDs stolen out of our car and was devistated. He was really excited to get this CD. It is true that it doesn't have a lot of their lesser-known greatest songs, but it is still awesome listening. We both love Window in the Skies and were very excited that it is on the CD as well.

Again, this was for me too. I love U2, and at first wasn't that compelled to buy this because I own the other compilations they have. But I really liked their new song and I found a great deal that I couldn't resist.

U2 is my all time favorite band. I never tire of listening to them. So when this CD came out how could I not buy it? It is a GREAT CD. If you don't want to buy all their CD's or don't have room in your car for all your U2 CD's then this is the CD for you. 18 of their hits on one CD that you can sing along to. GREAT CD...A MUST HAVE FOR ALL U2 FANS!

Just one of the greatest bands ever....good hits on this CD...I wish 'I will Follow' were on it.....it's a hard track to find........... This is a great CD though...would recommend it to any U2 fan

I could not find the CD anywhere and decided to get it here. Product came right in time for Christmas.

It has all the song's you love to hear and sing with in one place. Great for car rides or just getting your work done.
