U2 - U218 Singles (DVD, 2006)

I got the upgraded version. It comes with a CD, DVD and a nice booklet. This is a good collector item. Aside from the cd with the singles the dvd is great. It is a 57 min show live from Milan.
The booklet has pictures of the band, the cover of the singles of each song with the lyrics, and it holds the cd and dvd.
I'd say most U2 fans will enjoy the DVD and booklet more than the cd. The cd has songs that most U2 fans will already own except for 2 new songs; "The Saints Are Coming" (U2 and Green Day), and "Window in The Skies."
I am glad I bought this item. My favorite part is when Bono sings all parts of Miss Sarajevo. I was a little worried he was going over his head but it was actually good.

As a kid I bought all of U2's recordings. When I got older music changed as I did, gave most of my music to my kids(Who knows). Then 3 weeks ago my kids sent me to see U2 in concert, what was I thinking about giving my U2 music. So I am starting to rebuild some of my music collection(What was I thinking).

Nice CD, I had read other reviews that stated it would not play and it was the wrong region code, but mine was USA. Just wish it was in 5.1 surround rather than stereo PCM.

When I found this item on ebay I was thrilled! I read the description carefully, bid on it, and won. I was glad I read the description because I noticed the seller wsa in Thailand. NO WHERE in the description of the item did he indicate that it was a different format dvd than would play in the united states.
When I received it at the end of November, I opened it intending on playing it right away... I got a little concerned when most of the writing on the dvd was in asian characters... So I tried to put in the dvd player and was shocked when it didnt play. I then tried to play it on my computer, would not play there either.
I contacted the seller through ebay three times asking for his address so I could send it back, because I had no way to watch it! I told him if I didnt hear from him I would contact ebay... still no response. The last time I emailed him I sent it to his 'gmail' address, still nothing. He never even sent a response saying 'sorry' at least! Now I'm out some money and I'm stuck with a dvd ( that I really wanted!) that I can't watch!
I will stear clear of this seller, and will tell my friends to watch out for him. He is dishonest and knowingly sent me a dvd that he knew I couldn't watch. I hope anybody considering buying from this guy reads this and changes their mind, I wish I had.

This is the first time i have been scammed. This seller had sold me a U2 18 Singles DVD and it properly stated that it was brand new; they DVD never worked. I have tried to contact the dealer but he refuses to help and just took my money. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS USER.
