U2 - Go Home: Live from Slane Castle, Ireland (DVD, 2003, Limited Edition Digi-Pack)

In 2001 I lived in Scotland and took a 2 1/2 week tour of the island (Ireland) My birthday just happened to fall on the day U2 was performing . How could I not go to this concert. It was like the rock n roll Gods smiled upon me and gave me a gift. (although, they didnt buy me the tickets!)

I am a little biased about this DVD release due to the fact I was in the crowd and that is a very rare moment for a lifelong rocker as myself. U2 is a great show at ANY time you see them. Seeing them in a castle with those acoustics and back drop? Unreal.

If you are a U2 fan, you WONT be disappointed in this comilation. Included is the previous concert they did there and the differences in the band are noticeale and much appreciated from a fans standpoint.

This is the most beautifull concert I have ever seen before, the audio and the quality is just pefect. Thank you I am glad to have it

This DVD is incredible...its so powerful and amazing. everything looks wonderful in the concert and there are no problems with it at all. buy it and enjoy it...great buy!

Excellent video of the concert. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I was originally looking for another concert I seen on Austin City Lights on TV. This wasn't it, but it still had all my favorite U2 songs and was worth the purchase.

If you are or are not a U2 fan, this is well worth buying even @ retail price. Who ever was in charge of filming @ the time, really knew what they were doing.( Even at film standards of the time. ) Great flow, close-ups and all around stage performance. Reminds me when I went to concerts while in Germany. You will be very well pleased. Wish bands would do more DVD now of days. Awsome !

It was a bonus to get an unexpected copy of U2 the recording of the Unforgatable
Fire. The concert was good. Not u2 finnest.

This dvd is awesome. This is the best performance U2 has done. Loved it when it was loaned to me, could'nt wait to own it myself.
