Tyson (DVD, 2009)

Such an amazing film documentry of how emotional mike tysons life has been and all the amazing accomplishments he has had in his life

My son told me he wanted this movie. We found it on ebay less expensive than in the store. I purchased it and my seller was terrific as it come real quick. My son was so excited, we watched it, not my favorite movie but he was happy. He added it to his collection and our world was happy.

Film was very well done as it reveals Mike Tyson as an actual human being and not some crazed animal like the media has always portrayed him to be. In this film he describes very vividly of where he came from, what he had become and where he wants to be in the future. To me, Michael Jackson and Mike Tyson have always been the pair that has received the most critical scrutiny from the media as well as the public in this era but in a film that unveils all, it is apparent that these people are no different from the likes of us. However, if you're expecting this movie to be like Rocky, than you're sadly mistaken.

The film Tyson was very good , but I'm a little disappointed in the selling of this dvd from the seller . The seller did not give me the dvd cover which makes it very easy , to lose the dvd at home . This makes it very easy for the dvd to get scratched up or even lost in the security of your home .

Other than the sell , there was a little miscommunication with the paypal account an the seller whether i had the funds in my account .

Because i did not recieve the the dvd cover , I'm reluctant to do business with this seler again .

If you're interested in the former heavyweight champ (Mike Tyson)this film is a must have. It's a self-narrated autobiography of Mike; about his rise & fall in the ring. Not only does he talk about his boxing career, he also speaks about his personal life. He explain his anger, his aggression, his ring dominance and his fears. Very interesting film. Highly reccomended for Tyson fans. *****

Wow, great documentary, told from in the first person by the man himself. Very eye opening account of Mike's personal fears, confidence issues, and attachment problems that he masked with excess sex, expenditures, and friendly 'leeches' he kept around him to feed his tremendous ego during his heyday. I grew up watching Tyson and always knew Tyson to be an intelligent, articulate, and soft-spoken guy whom under different circumstances and upbringing, would have been a completely functional member of society in any other capacity. This doc shows in vivid detail how one wrong turn here or there or how one poorly thought out action can change a man for the rest of his life. I'm glad that he's from drug addiction and that he's completely changed his outlook and attitude for the better. God Bless Mike!!!
