Tyler Perry's The Family That Preys (DVD, 2009, Widescreen)

I purchased this movie because I am a Tyler Perry fan and like all of his work. However, the movie was flawed with scratches and froze several times. The seller did, however, refund the purhcase price.

Another Tyler Perry movie that I purchased because of previews. This is a good movie with a great story line. A must see movie. Wonderful/sad ending.

This is one of the best film I have ever come in contact with and the lesson is so amazing. They're out to get you, and so is everyone else." This was exactly what a son intended to do to his mum while a wife did same to her husband and even lied to him for years. The day he found out she was lying he lost every thing except his vision.

The lessons of life in this very simple video is truly amazing. Tyler Perry the director and producer is indeed improving from strength to strength. This is a must have film for keeps.

I love all of Tylers Perry's movies and stage plays. There is always a significant message for the audience to relate to or grasp.

I decided to buy it because it was an excellent movie and I enjoyed it very much. Many lessons were taught from that movie!

It's truly a great movie filled with life love and of course laughter. It leaves you on the edge of your seat wanting more wondering what is going to happen next. An ideal tyler perry movie.

I bought this DVD to entertain my wife. I prefer action movies. I figured I'd be polite, watch a few minutes then drift off to my Man Cave. Turns out, I enjoyed every minute! A real Feel Good movie where everybody gets what's coming to them! You Go Tyler Perry!

Had saw the movie and wanted the dvd for myself. the dvd played well no scratches, I would consider buying again from seller.

Have seen the movie once before and was glad to find it here for a nice price and fast shipping... Happy with the seller and will be back again to buy more movies...

the most serious movie to date from tyler perry. strong cast once again with good story line. several twist and turns keep the movie intresting through-out. the ending really sums it all up. kathy bates play a strong lead in this one.

Tyler Perry is a great director, actor and writer. Any movies or plays that he writes always has some type of positive message. As usual, like his other movies, this one is no different....it's GREAT!!

This movie is quite good with it's sub plots and affair's. Kathy Bates is awesome as the owner of a company thats in the beginning stages of Alsheimer's Disease and the lives of the people that work in her company. Very good watching!

The seller offers a great line of products for a consumers that loves Movies and I really appreaciate the wide line of options. I will say that if the seller could look into adding more on the Movie side by genere and different artist and subject matter dealing with different periods or interest it would be great to continue shopping with seller for a long time.

This movie was a shocker for me. I wasn't sure I'd like it at all, but being a huge Kathy Bates and Alfre Woodard fan, I gave it a shot.
It was worth every second. Funny, sad, emotional....your feelings run the entire gamut of "what you can feel!"
Relationships are real, concerns are real and Tyler Perry did a jam up job on this film. There's love, compassion, loyalty, strong marriages, betrayal, ulterior movies, and greed. Everything that "can" happen...does!
Here's what told me more than anything that it must have been a good flick:
I watched it with my husband and when it was over, he asked me to start it again and watched it completely a second time!

Tyler Perry usually comes out with really good movies but this one wasn't what I expected. For one, the movie was kind of short, and usually Tyler Perry has a lot of comedy and humor but this movie lacked a lot of that.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this movie. This is his best movie yet (including madea goes to jail). This is a very touching movie. made me cry and some of the characters is whoa. some of them makes you want to smack them for what they did. Great job on this one Tyler, this is my favorite so far

What I liked about the movie was, what I feel it's objective was in displaying to one having and pursuing a dream what hard work and determination can lead. it also foretell of what can happen if one is dishonest disloyal and shows lack of faith and integrity in acheving those dreams.the movie also shows the real meaning of friendship, faithfulness, and being kind and compassionate to those who are less forunate, which reminds me of Gods word that says" mind how you entertain strangers for you may be entertaining angels unaware" Hebrews:13,2.This is a great movie and has a lot of meaning and one can learn a lot from watching it and taking it at face value.
