Tyler Perry's Madea Goes to Jail (DVD, 2009, Widescreen)

I LOVE Tyler Perry's movies. He always has such a good message in each movie while keeping me entertained and making me laugh. This movie starts out following two attorneys that are engaged and work together. One attorney ends up bumping into an old friend that he knew in school. His friend has been dealt a pretty rotten hand in life and ends up in pretty desperate circumstances. Instead of passing judgment on his friend, he listens to her and offers understanding, even when she is angry and untrusting. An excellent movie with an excellent story and message. As always, Madea made me laugh until my stomach hurt. Thank you Mr. Perry for another excellent movie.

This is a thought-provoking and very funny movie. How many time have we thought about doing some of the things that Madea does. This is a movie with good morals and good lessons for us all. It is a good movie - the other Madea movies are written and produced in the same way. This is a movie I would highly recommend.

The movie was great from beginning to end! Tyler Perry always has good stories and in his movies he show cases that. The movie started off scary due to the situation of the female actress being a prostitute. I laughed through out the movie; especially when Madea was fighting off the police from detaining her and when she took the ladies car for taking her parking spot at K-Mart. But overall the movie was awesome. The movie is like a wake up call to those who follow others rather than follow there own path!! I would recommend this movie to anyone! A+++

Tyler Perry is well loved at our house. We have all his movies. I like how he mixes religion, comedy and true life events. This movie was no different, it was funny and touched on some true issues that people face everyday. Like rape, prostitution, going to jail, cheating to get ahead, and justice being served. The movie was funny, sad and heart warming. A must see!

We bought this movie because we had gone to the movies and watched it. We then decided it would be a movie that we would watch again. My son and his friends have watched the movie several times. They are still laughing after viewing the movie atleast 20 times.

madea is back up to her old self!!!!! tyler perry can do no wrong with this franchise. this is the most hilarious of the whole perry series as madea takes the stage front and center. also has keisha knight pulliam, derek luke, and dr. phil making a guest apperance. better add this to the collection if there is any doubt.

Tyler Perry is FUNNY as Madea. I don't remember how, but somehow she winds up in prison. There was a scene in there about how young people should respect their elders and I almost felt as if he were giving the talk to my son, who has not been respecting his parents. There are a few funny spots in there. My son wasn't home to watch it the first time around.

This is one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. Tyler Perry has a way of writing that has a universal appeal along with as moral message. I am sure he takes his experiences in life to come up with his story lines. Family interactions are what his movies are all about. Don't miss this one if you have a sense of humor and love to laugh and understand that all families have issues. I have seen other work by Tyler Perry and I thought this was his best work.

If you want to laugh your buns off, Madea will truly fufill your needs! Every family has a Madea! African American that is. Tyler Perry has out done himself with this one. Watch for the Dr Phil segment, OMG, I'm still laughing!

This is another great title. This is one of my personal favorites. It's very funny. Madea and her brother Joe cusses and acts up through the whole movie so it will definitely crack you up. It also has real life issues of todays world and again it's loaded with laughter.

I enjoyed this movie at the theater and had to buy it. Tyler Perry did good again. I liked this movie because like in all of Tyler's movies there is a moral to the story.
