Once again the Queen's Privy Council struggle to discover the plot to dethrone the newly queened Elizabeth. Elizabeth struggles with love and treason in this historically based book on Queen Elizabeth. Based on historical circumstances this series offers a glimpse at what might have happened behind the dry recorded historical facts. In this book will Elizabeth risk her throne for the love of a married man? Is he implicated in his wife's sudden demise? Does the death of her lutenist and the subsequent sudden arrival of another master lutenist indicate a plot to once again place Elizabeth's regimen in peril? In this book Elizabeth shows that the Queen's favorites must be above reproach or suffer banishment. Elizabeth banishes a dear friend and a loyal and loving subject for maintaining a secret.
I believe you will throughly enjoy this book, I know I did.
