I purchased this book in order to be able to show how another publication quoted the author out of context and also made a few alterations in order to make it appear opposite to the writers intent.
The only thing I don't like about the book is that it is not an original printing. The real thing in good condition would have been too expensive for me.
What I like about the book is that it is an excellent reproduction that serves the purpose at a very reasonable price.

I bought this book because I'm studying the Bible and I was told that this book confirms a lot of information that is stated in the bible which it does. Excellent research tool.

It's my second purchase. The first book was passed along to another seeker of truth. It's masterful. Absolutely critically researched and true despite some who would attempt to otherwise discount it. Anyone wishing to ascertain the original foundations of the Roman Catholic church has only to read the first few pages of Hislop's Two Babylons to get the shocking connection. The only other aspect that readers need to understand is that this book was first printed in the 1800's, not 1989. Authors back then had more of a responsibility to research and present historical facts than present ones, some of whom seek to distort past Ecclesiastical reality.
