Twister (DVD, 2000, DTS/AC3 Special Edition)

Product was never received. Lousy experience considering I used Pay Pal, filed a claim with Pay Pal and the end result was I was told to contact the seller. I am out the money so I will hesitate to use eBay in the future.

Twister is a GREAT movie! One of my favorites. If you ever get to Universal Studios in Orlando, FL - be sure to watch Twister right before you go, then do the Twister, Ride it Out experience!! AWESOME!!

I truly enjoyed this movie. I have seen it twice already and would watch it again. All of the actors did a wonderful job.

Great movie & things that happen in real life to learn. I aways liked this movie & never bought it until now. Watched it lots of times since I got it. I would recommend people to watch it. Mostly if they live near tornadoes. I believe some can learn from this movie.

One of my favorite movies personally. Lots of excitement, fast paced, good and varied soundtrack (which you can also purchase seperately), as well as a reasonably good story line complete with relationships. Admitedly a bit hoaky in the realm of reality and not very accurate if you're looking for a scientifically realistic portrayal of tornados.

Description: The main character, Jo, driven by a traumatic past, chases tornados in an effort to help increase warning time. In order to do this she and her team must place a device called 'Dorothy' in the path of a tornado that if sucked up will reveal all the information the group needs to study the nature of tornados, then get back out of the path before the tornado sucks her up too. Blinded by her drive, Jo may be missing her last opportunity with her seperated husband who has come with his new fiance to get their divorce papers signed. In addition, Jo's team is working to get 'Dorothy' in the air before a rival team involved in the chase for the money and prestige gets their copy-cat device, 'D.O.T. 3' up.

If you enjoy weather phenomena, good acting and action this is a great movie. Enjoyed it from beginning to end. Nothing like living the life of a storm chaser. One of my favorites

I just love this movie. I used to chase tornado's in Texas when I was young and wild. This movie reminds me of some of those times. I have two VHS tapes and I wanted one on DVD. I do watch it quite often. It is a favorite movie as I stated above.

Cons: Some of the effects are unrealistic.

I would recommend this movie to anyone and everyone.

Twister was a great movie to watch and I just purchased it for a friend because I know she will love it too. My friends loves and is fascinated by weather and the movie Twister is about a crazy tornado and people trying to chase it and it also has a love twist in it. I would definitely say watch this movie!

This is a really good movie. Helen Hunt and Bill Paxton are excellent as tornado hunters. The graphics are very good, but some are a little far fetched.
