This was such an awesome movie. I can remember at a young age I was always fascinated with storms and wanted to be a storm chaser. This movie went a little over the edge trying to portray how various tornados can react; however, for an action film, especially for its time of production was pretty spot on. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend that you do..."oh look another cow". This movie was good by itself, but if you get it on blu ray, turn off the lights, and get some nice surround sound to top off the mix...you are in for quite the treat!

WOW the graphics is great on this movie. The audio is okay but could be better. Overall An A++ movie, better than regular DVD. Definately recommend this movie to anyone.

Great Picture and sound. With the Blu-Ray DVD transfer its great watching it in HD. I the plot and acting are solid, but I really think having seen the regular dvd vs. the Blu-Ray there is no comparison. If you like the story you will love the Blu Ray version

What can I say, I love storms and grew up where they were bad. Tornadoes were not uncommon. This movie is wickedly beautiful. The dialogue is rife with whit. The characters are interesting and the action is great. It also has a great soundtrack. Twister is also educational if you don't know much about tornadoes or the destruction they leave behind. I watch this a few times each summer when it starts to get dark and stormy.

) bluray version is HOT. great deal. the extras are fun to watch. This film benefits from the sharpness and sound offered on Blu-ray. Say what you want about the plot or acting, but if you're a weather watcher at all, this is a fun version of a great summer movie.

) I HAVE LIKED THE MOVIE TWISTER SINCE I WAS 19, MY FRIENDS AND I WENT TO SEE IT IN THE THEATER. ALSO PART OF THE MOVIE WAS FILMED ON MY MOM'S NOW X HUSBAND'S LAND. SO IT WAS A MOMENTUS OCCASION BUT UNFORTUNATELY I HAD TO WORK WHEN THEY WERE FILMING THE MOVIE. THANKS FOR THE ADDITION TO MY DVD COLLECTION.

Twister blu rayFor those of you who think tornadoes are pretty cool, this is the movie for you. It has scene after scene of tonadoes of all kinds causing havoc everywhere. The chasers are are an entertaining bunch with their own story line going on while they follow the storms. This blu ray edition makes the tornadoes looks awesome. I love this movie. It's scary, and cool and blu ray makes it a lot better than the old dvd version.

Very good title.I like the special effects and the actors. You will enjoy watching this movie because of the many fine actors involved. Have seen this movie several times and most likely will watch it again and again. However, if you are buying this movie and want to see an improvement in picture quality, DON'T. I have both the regular DVD version and the Blu Ray version.
Except for the occasional improvement in picture, I did not notice much if any difference. I don't know why that is. It could be because the picture contains so many dark scenes. It could also be because of the amount of computer generated special effects. Normally when I watch a movie in Blu Ray or HD format, I notice the more movie like quality and improved sound. That was not the case for this particular movie.
I have a large 72 inch Toshiba DLP and should be able to notice the difference between Blu Ray and regular dvds. cwcarroll 384
