Twisted Metal 3 (PlayStation, 1998)

I loved this game. This is one of my favorite games on PlayStation! It is very fun to play with friends.

I would recommend this game to anyone.

Let me just first say the the only game in the Twisted Metal series to get is Twisted Metal two. I had VERY high expectations for this game, as it followed the phenomenal Twisted Metal 2. But I was REALLY let down.

The graphics in TM3 are aren't so great, even for this era. The gameplay and controls are clunky. Even the actual action of this game isn't fun. The boards are also non-inventive and the bosses are REALLY easy!

The replay value isn't so good either. When you beat the game, they don't really give you much extra. The good thing about TM3 is that most of the character from TM2 are here, which pretty much saves this game. Play Twisted Metal 2 instead, Twisted Metal 3 is Very POOR!

For the last 11 years, I have been in love with this game. GREAT music too, primarily by Rob Zombie. BUY IT!

Another installment in an already great lineup of twisted metal games. The all out brawl with weaponized vehicles and messed up characters makes for a pretty enjoyable game.
This is one of those classic playstation games that feature great soundtrack music from Rob Zombie, and exciting gameplay.

If you have not played twisted metal before I would definately recommed doing so.

This game is a great time to play with friends, we play for hours on end. The twisted metal series should definitely be brought back.

Twisted Metal 3 is the best of the Twisted Metal series with a Call Of Duty like gameplay but with cars instead will get you hooked after first play. Im glad i was still able to grab one off ebay. It is playstation one graphics but the great game will let you easily look past that.

When it comes down to ACTION-PACKED video games, it gets no better than Twisted Metal!!! Twisted Metal 3 was just another way to show that the Twisted Metal saga continues & only gets better & better!!! What I like about this game was the unlimited places to go on every battle stage you faught at! What I loved was the speed of the cars on this one! I didn't like that it was always hard to beat the man in the Ice Cream Truck! LOL!!! Real Talk, I decided to purchase this item because it's a UNDENIABLE/MUST HAVE & IT'S A CLASSIC!!!! I wouldn't change nothing about it!!!!

I bought it as his brothers broke the first one only one problem the game never would play in the playstation.Guess the seller had good intentions.

This game eventhough not made by the original developers of twisted metal, still is a great game in it by itself. If you are a fan of this then by all means you will enjoy it.

This is the next installment of the Twisted Metal series. Bedlam, weapons, mayhem all reign here. It has plenty of choices for characters, the scenerios are limited to the "Arena Style" format, but still a good time consuming game. It does get a bit automatic once you've gotten the hang of it. But then, don't most of these? It was not terribly expensive and I had fun with it.

Je n'ai pas vu que le jeu était en mode NTSC alors je ne peu pas lier le jeu avec ma play, donc je suis un peu dégouté...

My son loves racing games and when this came in; he was so very excited!!! He has wanted to play this game for so long and now he has it; he has not put it down since then..

This game is good for getting your aggressions out, but the control scheme needs much improvement. The camera settings are horrid, yet the premise of the game is excellent.

The various weapons of the plethora of vehicles to choose from are superb. The level designs don't make any sense which makes it really hard to destroy the other vehicles, which is the entire point of the game. The artificial intelligence (A.I.) of your enemies is top-notch, considering when this game was released. At the time of this reveiw, the game itself is considered semi-rare.

My daughter had the original Twisted Metal several years ago and loved it. IT was the only thing that she asked for her 17th birthday. It was no where to be found at our Wal Mart here, so I ordered on eBay.
Upon receipt after tearing into the package, we noticed that the plastic case was broken. However, that didn't stop her from jumping right in there and playing it all afternoon. She just loves it!

i like how you can drive cars around go anywhere and blow stuff up i played it as a kid and i really enjoyed playing the game.

What did they do?? Twisted metal 2 was so unbelievably good, they they go and ruin it with this flashy bad camera angles pile of crap! Twisted Metal 1 was a good start, 2 was just great, 3 & 4 (black), LAME.COM! You will get a headache FAST from this game!

As many have said, this isn't Twisted Metal 2, the best Twisted Metal game there is. But it's still fun! I bought this game a very short while after it came out, and enjoyed it quite a bit. A lot of the characters are the same, but the battle fields are different making for a whole different game. You'll duke it out in levels ranging from a winter-wonder-land to high in the skies aboard a blimp.

The graphics were improved from TM2 to TM3, so that's a definite plus. The multi player is fun, as it is with any Twisted Metal game.

What it all comes down to is the fact that this is a Twisted Metal game. Anyone who liked 2 (or even 1 perhaps) should like this game. Some have said that they liked it more. Twisted Metal 3 and 4 are probably tied for second in my book. Both aren't as good as 2, but they are both definitely fun and worth buying. I give Twisted Metal 3 a 4 out of 5. Definitely recommended!

Twisted Metal 3 has gotten a bum rap from the beginning. You need to take time to learn how to maneuver the cars. After learning how to control the cars, the game really rocks! It is my favorite twisted game. The cars are great and the effects are awesome. You just need to take time to learn how to control these twisted cars and then it becomes really fun to take your time and beat the game. Twisted metal 3 rocks!
