Twilight (Blu-ray Disc, 2009)

There has not been a shortage for the craving of the general public to watch vampire movies.

Twilight is one of those movies that seem to cater to the teenage and female group. I don't think this is a minus for the film, however, it seems very slow in places and makes you wonder why the director went in certain directions at the times he did. The Indian Wolf Subplot was a little hard to swallow as well.

Bella and Edward, the two characters that fall in love, played by Kristin Stewart and Robert Pattinson, seem to be perfect for one another. This love brings itself forward and forces the characters to try and deal with the fact that Edward is a vampire and lives with a group of vampires. They all seem to get along with the out-cast human until things get a little hairy but the end turns out to resolve all those issues.

I'll have to give this movie a 4/5 regardless, since it does a few interesting spots and is not overtly grotesque.

I love this movie. In fact, I love it so much that I am officially a twilight fan after watching this movie. Prior to the movie, I didn't know what all the excitment was about but then I saw(the movie) and read all books within one month. I am all twilight. The seller was great and very responsive. I was a backwards Twihard. I watched the movie, then immediately ran out to purchase the series. I read through the entire series in less than a week (almost without sleep) and then read them again, and again and again. I've read the entire series 7 times and I might do it again before New Moon's release. The movie was fantastic, although I didn't understand some of it until I read the books. I don't believe the Twilight movie did the book justice, but had it not been modeled after the book, it would have been fantastic. I think vital parts were deleted out of the book when making the movie and the plot sequence was out of sync or completely made up - the prom, the bus ride, etc. I think the script was rushed and could have been tons better. I think if u watched the movie without reading the books, u wouldn't have the issues with the plot.

I like the fact the shipping was very fast and also its what I've been wanting. the case was intact and the were no smudges what so ever. The item was a very low cost and I had purchased it at the end of the week. I've been looking for this item for awhile and now i finally have it in my stock! So Im now happy..

i realy enjoyed this movie. my girlfriend bought it a while ago and i watched it. liked it and now realy like it on blu-ray. the story line is cool and i live in washington so its kinda cool the movie was shot here. anyway the movie is good and i do recomend it.

Twilight was one of the best books that I have read in a long time. I wanted to see how they did translating the book to the movie. Which they did fairly well in my opinion with what they had to work with. This blu-ray set has extra features and lets you look into how the movie was made. If you are curious as to how they create a movie based upon a book like Twilight, this would be a good idea for you to buy.

i read books and then i saw the movie was made of a set of books i loved so i looked here on ebay where prices are below rock bottem and found the bluray. watched it and loved it more than the book. im so anxious for the others to come out, i give it 4.5 stars out of 5. takes alot to be perfect

because it was in a great price and you cant find blue rays on that price that's why i decided to get it.

Twilight is infamous for being infested by mindless fangirls, and for being a saga without a decent plot. But I decided I would give the film adaptation a chance, and I wasn't disappointed. I was underwhelmed, to be more accurate. But to be fair, it's very easy to be underwhelmed by a film of this nature because it received loads of hype. So when you sit down and actually watch it, your expectations are very high. This film, as predicted, did not reach those expectations.

My first gripe about Twilight was that it seemed too long. Telling the story of how an adolescent girl finds out that an adolescent boy is a vampire, then falling in love with him should not take over 2 hours. But then again, it's understandable because the book is fairly long, and there would be lots of complaints if certain scenes did not go into the movie adaptation. But still, somewhere around 115 minutes would have been better.

The acting surely isn't the best you will ever see, but I've seen lots worse as well. The film had a good cast of young actors, and Robert Pattinson was the film's standout. I think if he stays focused and keeps his head on straight, Pattinson might just be one of the acting elite in the future. Kristen Stewart's acting was nothing more than okay, and left a lot to be desired in my opinion. Everyone else did a pretty good job.

This film also had some pretty cool action scenes, but nothing in the league of The Matrix, Kill Bill, or anything like that.

Twilight has its flaws, but on the plus side of things, it's entertaining and original. Its not your typical vampire film and if you watch it with that in mind you should be alright. I haven't read the books so I don't have the comparison.

I liked everything about it. The price wasn't the lowest but a dollar wasn't a concern when everything else was so easy. I have to thank the seller for making it as easy and clear as possible. No hidden costs or obscure descriptions. Thanks again.

Better then you would think, watch with your girl. You might be surprised. The action is lacking a little, but the acting is pretty good. My wife loves the books, so its a no-brainer that I am seeing all the movie. Not that bad a proposition now.

This is one of the best movie i have ever seen. This is a dark romantic/thriller movie. The guys won't like the romantic parts but the vampire stuff and fight scenes are amazing. The acting was amazing and great work with computers in order to create some of the fast movements and fight scenes. I've watched this movie over 30 times already and read all 4 books! I highly recommend this movie.

This is a dark movie with a great love story. It is truly well made and written.

If you have the means for HDTV and a Blu-Ray player this is one of the must haves. The detail is phenomenal and if you can render and watch in 1080p, you are truly loving the visual and audio experience in HDMI!

I liked it, different, but much less cheesier then other blood suckers. Remember, while watching, this is a teen movie, meant for teens, so don't expect it to be Bram's. Characters are played decently, good for everyone.

I was more than satisfied by this seller's product and readiness to ship. Love the movie (like millions of others) and the picture was awesome to see on Blu-ray. Their product came about 3 days after I bought it, and that was on a weekend!! I recommend this seller to everyone on Half.com.

Overall, the movie was ok. After hearing all the hype, I was expecting a lot more from this one. More action would have been nice with all the powers that the vampires have.

The story was good and definetly a hit with the wife. This was more of a love story than the real vampire flick that I was hoping it would be.
