Twilight (DVD, 2009, 2-Disc Set)

What can i say. After decades of the blood and gore of vampires, its really nice to see something that has a bit of romance to it. This movie will leave you wondering what will come next. I can say it is going to take the world by storm, and that each sequel will better than the one before. If you havent taken the time to see this movie, do yourself a favor and do it today. It will become a real classic for the entire family.

I would like my money back because I never recieved the item described and I tried to dispute through Paypal and have not heard anything back yet...the seller took my money and then closed their Ebay account, a seller should not be allowed to CLOSE their account unless all transactions have been settled!

fast shipping!wish it wasn't listed as a 2 disc set and then in the body of the listing it says not a 2 disc set. this was misleading, although it was clarified and I should have read the body of the listing more closely.

seller lied prob didn't even have dvd defiently was a scam.closed account after got bad feed back to make sure the no one could track her down. i would not even give one star.

I loved reading the Twilight novels! & when I heard they were going to make it into a movie, I was excited and bouncing off the walls. I couldn't wait to see the characters come to life. But I had my doubts - What if it doesn't turn out to be like how I had imagined it? What if they skipped a scene that I loved in the novel? And many other concerns that any Twi-hard fan would have. However, when sitting in that cinema with all those screaming girls, my doubts disappeared. The experience was like no other. The atmosphere was tense with anticipation. All the girls only wanted one thing, and that was Robert Pattinson.

Needless to say, I love Robert Pattinson in this movie. He portrays Edward exactly how Stephanie Meyer intended. Brooding and mysterious, yet charming at the same time. He has that intense stare that makes you weak in the knees and that same stare can make you fear him - Like he wants you, though for all the wrong reasons. And Kristen Stewart plays Bella magnificently. She portrays selflessness in a way that is subtle and courageous, which she demonstrate towards the end of the movie.

These two characters have great chemistry in the book and a lot of people say it comes to life in the movie. Though, I would have to disagree. While watching the movie, it felt like their relationship was being fast-forwarded. I wasn't convinced that they loved each other, until the last 5-10 minutes of the movie.

This movie isn't just about the love between mortal and vampire. There are some pretty good action scenes too. There's a bit of flying, acrobatics and killing involved. Nothing too intense that will give you nightmares but just enough action that will make this movie great and worth seeing.

So, if you're a fan of sci-fi or romance, this movie may be a great addition to your DVD collection. And if you're a Twi-hard fan, I don't need to explain why you should have a copy of your own.

Ok, so I heard about this movie from my 11 year old neighbor and I think "total teen flick." So I watch it and for the first hour, that's what it is. But then I started to really get into it and really care about the characters! Now I'm a Twilight fanatic. Hey adults! Good movie here (including some unintended comedy from an adult perspective)

We like this movie because it was a clean love story. With no bad language or bad parts in it. My daughter and I love thie movie. We decided to buy this after renting it over and over.I Recommend others to purchase.

I love Twilight! They were totally sold out at every store around my area and I wanted to see it really bad... I have read all of the books and as soon as I heard it was to be out on DVD I decided I had to have it! Thank you so much for giving me a chance to own a copy of it. Twilight has got to be the #1 movie of 2009! I can't wait to see the next one!

I love the amazing cast that was in the movie making it feel very real. I felt like I was in the movie waiting to feel what was happening around me!

I love the fact that it's not like most vampire movies. Like the fact that they can be in the sun, but they shine like the sun hitting a bunch of diamonds. I decided to buy it, because I loved it when I had seen it in theaters. Now I can't wait for the next one to come out.

I loved everything about it :) ... first I just rented it and I went crazy about it! It's such a great story and the actors played their part very very well!! especially the main actors, Kristen Stewart as Bella and Robert Pattinson as Edward ... any ways I recommend this movie :) Have fun watching it :D

I loved everything about the movie. I went to the movies and fell in love with it then. I just had to have it and now that i do, ive had it one day and about to watch it for my second time. haha.. I have also read the book too and they are both awesome. You will not regret seeing or even buying this movie once you have seen it. The romance in the movie is so pure and precious. There is also a wonderful sense of security about the character. "Edward", that is so romantic too. I LOVE THIS MOVIE and would recommend it to anyone. Its not a movie for Children, i dont think but i will let you decide that. :]

Excellent Vampire movie, stays fairly close to the book. Worth seeing if like this genre. It can be a bit predictable at times though.

The Twilight Series books were so amazing, no movie could really do it justice. However, I thought these actors did a good job with what they were given. They weren't very experienced so some parts are mediocre but it was pretty good overall.

I have 3 children as well as a niece who talked about "Twilight" constantly! Finally my curiosity got to me and i went to purchase it...come to find out it wont be released until March 21st. On a whim i thought id check and see if Ebay had one for sale and lucky me! Someone had it ( and even cheaper than it will cost when it comes out! ) I watched the movie and honestly, i have to say i Loved it! Ive actually watched it a few times now :) Its really a great story with wonderful actors who did a great job! I liked it so much in fact that i ended up buying the remaining 3 books on Ebay so i don't have to wait for the sequel movies to come out to see what happens :) Its a love story with a twist..really theres no sense in writing what the movie is about, i dont think there is a person in America that doesnt know : ) Anyhow, my opinion, for people of my age group ( 39 ) is to see it! Its not just a kids movie, its a really entertaining story, its a Love story, Fantasy and Thriller all rolled into one! Cant beat that combo! **oh and the fact that the main Vampire is Super Sexy doesn't hurt either, its just icing on the cake :)

This is a review from a man who was raised on traditional Vampire films like Nosferatu, Dracula,
Bram Stoker's Dracula and so on. I would first like to point out that Vampires, in traditional lore
burn slightly, burst into flames and even explode while in direct sunlight. This is not the case in
the world of Twilight. The Vampires' flesh, sparkle in this world, and the reason they don't go in
direct sunlight is so people won't be able to tell they're Vampires, as opposed to certain death.
This, at first, upset me just as it did most everyone I know. However, upon watching this film
at the behest of my better half, I saw the film for what it was. This isn't someone's attempt to
mock or kill the traditional "rules" of Vampire myth. This isn't someone's attempt to recreate the
genre with her own "rules" for all others to follow. It was however, someone's attempt to bring
the Vampire into a modern era. A Neo-vampire if you will. Yes, new "rules" for the Vampire
species to live by, but done so in a way that makes it fresh, different and even a little exciting.
The story is also one of romance, true love and doing whatever it takes to protect the ones that
you hold dear to your heart. The story itself is beautiful. It's a modern day "Beauty and the Beast"
in a way. I for one, after allowing myself to be unbiased, enjoyed the film very much, and in fact
me and my Wife watched it again the very next night. I do not recommend this DVD to anyone
who takes the Vampire genre too seriously, those who are unwilling to let the Vampire genre
change, even if it's temporary, or those who are unwilling to let themselves enjoy something
GOOD, just because it's different. I do recommend this movie to anyone who wants to see the
traditional Vampire myth, going the same direction, but taking a different road. Hopefully you
guys understand what I just said. Sometimes my figures of speech go the wrong way.
