The Twilight Zone - Vol. 2 (DVD) (DVD, 2000)

No matter how many DVDs they put out with episodes of "The Twilight Zone," they cannot put out one with better episodes that Volume 2. This is not just because it has the quintessential "Zone" episode as the first one on the DVD, but also two of the other three episodes are outright classics and the final one is still an above average episode from Rod Serling's celebrated television anthology series. That is why when I started picking up choice volumes in this collection to own forever Volume 2 was number one on my list.

I am a fan of the tv series from the early 1960s. The price was great, I received my items quickly and packaged well.

I bought this dvd to show to my 7th graders. We read the tele-play first. They loved it. I was very pleased when I found this on ebay and the seller got it to me very quickly.

It was great to receive this classic TV show! The DVD was new and still in the original packaging. The price was right!

THESE ARE CLASICS AND ARE A PLEASURE TO WATCH. YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND THAT THEY WERE FILMED BACK IN THE 50S AND 60S SO SOME OF THE THINGS LEAVE NO GUESS WORK ON HOW THEY DID THEM. THE STORY LINES WERE GOOD AND THEY MADE DO WITH WHAT THEY HAD TO WORK WITH AT THE TIME. IF BLACK AND WHITE IS A DISTRACTION, THEN THESE MIGHT NOT BE FOR YOU BUT OTHERWISE THEY ARE OK.

It was a good video, but it didn't follow the written storyline very well. I thought it would be fun to show my class after reading the story in their literature book. I was dissappointd that it didn't follow the story very well. I can use that as a comparision lesson so all is not lost.

The DVD was in fine shape with excellent picture quality. If offered several memorable episodes from the Twilight Zone TV series.

I have always been a Twilight Zone fan since a child and these are a couple of my favorites,,,you can never find them in the video stores. Great deal on this so I couldn't pass it up.

Stories of the unkown and bizare are what make up the Twilight Zone. These are half hour episodeds from the late sixties, but they can still stand their own today.

Still one of the best show themes ever. Only thing is you only get three episodes, but still cool to have in your collection.

These digitally remastered programs are of the highest quality. These DVD's appear cleaner than the original 16mm prints shown on TV.

The main reason for my purchase of this DVD was the episode, "The Monsters Are Due On Maple Street", as it had been referenced by Keith Olbermann on Sept. 11, 2006.

Upon my seeing this episode, I knew that Keith was hitting home, as was Rod Serling when he wrote this episode! We are letting certain people in this country divide us, in much the same way the aliens divided Maple Street, only it's in a political manner.

The episode "Time Enough At Last", which I remember fondly, was also one of the best episodes ever in the history of the series. It has shown me that irony can teach, and teach very well.
