I bought this set because I watched these as a kid and enjoyed them then. I am enjoying these episodes even more now. Some are great, and some are a little lame, but even so, I am finding them all entertaining. It's also fun to see the early work of many actors that went on to bigger fame. The sound is good, the picture surprisingly clear (on almost all the episodes I've seen so far, except for a couple), and on my 60 inch TV, the video fills up the whole screen (no black strips). I recommend this purchase for anyone, regardless of age, and considering just how many episodes you're getting, I consider it a really good buy!!!

If you are a Twilight Zone fan like I am, then you will love this complete collection. It has ALL the episodes that were ever aired and special features too, like an interview with Rod Selling. There is a commentary mode where you can hear a play by play commentary during the episode. This comes in a neat box set and each season is in its own book like case. A must own for anyone loving the twilight zone.

The Quality is Absolutely Excellent. If you are a fan this set is a must have. The Complete original Series, all 5 seasons are completely restored, sound and video to digital quality. Excellent in every way.

What a great buy! The original TV series all in one complete set with no commercial interuptions. It's good for the whole family to enjoy together. My family has been frustrated lately with the lack of good quality TV. Over 150 channels and mostly all violent, sexual or just plain foolish. With this complete set we can pop in a disc and enjoy hours of uninterupted classics Twilight Zone. We love it!

The collection includes all the Twilight Zone episodes ever recorded. Also included are interviews with Rod Serling, the producers, and others involved in the production of the series.
The DVDs come beautifully packaged in a case which includes sleeve notes for each individual season and short plot summaries.
You will find many episodes that you likely have never seen on TV before (one episode involving a young man slipping a love potion into his date's drink -- can you say completely politically incorrect now?). Some of the 1960s special effects will also have you rolling on the floor laughing, but that is certainly part of the charm of this entire collection.
A few things to be aware of: The DVDs are dual-layer. Most of the DVD players sold prior to 2005 are not able to play dual layer, so you may have to spend another $100 to buy a DVD player that can handle dual layer discs.
If you are a fan of the series, you will certainly want to add this to your collection. The engineering of the disc menus is outstanding. There are also additional materials such as individual musical scores and Twilight Zone Magazine PDF files which can be accessed by playing the disc in your computer (again, your computer's DVD player will need to be current enough to play dual-layer discs).

The ultimate in collections!!! Everything you EVER needed in classic TZ's and even the commercial sponsors are mentioned at the end of each episode as well as Rod Serlings lead-ins to "next week's episode"... Last disc has some exclusive interviews and other goodies too.
The ONLY thing I wish they had offered on this set was the option to PLAY ALL on each disc, instead of having to scroll to the next episode. Thats the only negative I see. Otherwise, every TZ fan should own this set...

A must for avid TWZ fans and those who would classify themselves as occasional fans. It is well worth the purschase, the extras provide additional insight to the times they were made. The only thing I did not like, I have not found a "Play all Option" on the disk, which means you must play them one episode at a time. Still worth the labor of love to do so :-)

I bought this collection because I like the Twilight Zone! I wanted the entire collection because I didn't want to have to buy a season here, and a season there. As sure as I did that....I would not be able to find one. And also, I found that the complete box set was easier, and neater to store than boxes everywhere.

This DVD collection has everything I wanted: all the episodes and the clearest I have ever seen or heard these shows. I've watched Twilight Zone reruns off and on over the years, but this year my son took an interest as well so now we're having one episode a week when we all sit down and watch one. The great thing about this series is that it has held up so well over time--it tackles interesting ideas in a way that is accessible to adults and kids (pre-teen and up) alike. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Who doesn't love to enter the Twilight Zone? This dvd set is one that is a must for any collection. The stories are great, the direction is wonderful-a real American TV classic! These stories pull you in, no matter how often you've seen them, and they are as interesting today as they were when they first aired. My family (husband and 5 kids, 12-2) loves to pile in front of the tv together for a Twilight Zone marathon on New Year's Eve and we all have different favorites. (Talky Tina? Burgess Meredith in the library? Who can choose just one?) These provide hours of fun for everyone.

This colletion so far has been great. It really has every episode from the begining to the end. I looked for a long time for the complete colletion and found them at a price I could never afford. But I finialy found one of ebay at a price I can. Shipment was fast and on time.

I grew up on 1960s television and the spooky Twilight Zone shows were my absolute favor. This is the complete collection of every episode over the five seasons it was on CBS. A must for every lover of that genre of TV shows. You are better off buying the complete, definitive edition rather than buying one season at a time. Some episodes I remember watching as a kid, some it seems like I am watching them for the first time. ALL of them are great! A real tribute to Rod Serling's genius.

An excellent collection of full length episodes. Includes many extras that haven't been seen since the show first aired. The Twilight Zone is not only television history, but American history as well. How many great episodes dealt with our fear of airline travel or space travel or the atomic bomb. All these things were in their infancy in the early '60s. They were things that most of us didn't understand and therefore feared. World history is also covered. Remember the superb Nazi episodes? How about the ones where governments control our very thought and action? Many of these shows are still relevant today. History? Yes. Highly entertaining? HECK YES! Just think, you will be able to view your favorite anytime you like. Not just New Years day on the Sci-fi channel.
DVDs and boxes are well made. The price many seem a little high, but the price per disk is only about $7.25. Well worth it!

The Twilight Zone was and still is one of the most thought provoking television series ever produced. It still appeals to both young and old alike, even after the decades that have passed from it's original appearance on network television. Every Thursday nite, multitude's of American's made popcorn at home and got ready for another great show and were never disappointed, although we never could forsee the ending of the show and there was always a moral or influence that we could not deny.
This series will be popular generations from now. I bought The Twilight Zone Complete Definitive Collection 2006 D.V.D. series. Why ? because I saw many of the original shows when they first aired and their conclusions of human nature and the strange roads we all take, are still true today in a world of computers, internet and ipods. I rate this collection of 251 shows as Excellent!.

If your a fan of the Twilight Zone you have to get this for your DVD Library. I place a DVD in my Player and just hit play. I never get tired of watching episode after episode. I had thought I seen them all but there are many in this collection that I missed growing up and they must not been aired during the Zone Marathons that are on TV on New Years. Many of the episodes were ahead of it's time and Rod really knew how to make us think.
The out takes, interviews and some old commericals are in the set...This is a must BUY .....You won't be dissapointed.

If you have ever seen a Twilight Zone episode or if you like M Night Shymalan work you will love this collection. In Seinfeld, they once joked that this is the show in which you think something is happening but then it turns out to be something completely different...well that's a pretty accurate description of these masterpieces. I would recommend this collection to anyone..whether it is based on the nostalgia of black and white tv, the unbelievable amounts of stars that appear in episodes (Lee Marvin, Lee Van Cleef, Leonard Nimoy, Jack Klugman, William Shatner, Ida Lupino, Johnathan Winters, Burgess Merideth, Dean Stockwell, Charles Bronson....and the list goes on and on.), or the incredible depth of human experiences which is exposed in some stories or the sheer ironic delight of other stories. The Twilight Zone spoke out, although cleverly hidden in their tales, about racism, bigotry, violence, mob mentality, and what it is to truly be human. My only dissapointment with this collection would be that there is no subtitles available on this edition, but otherwise every single episode is there along with commercials of the time at the end of each episode (such as Rod Serling doing a commerical for ciggarettes). The special features are wonderful as well. If you enjoy this work by Rod Serling, check out his movie "Patterns" it is wonderful movie about corporate life. Can't recommend this highly enough. This is callback to when a television show could evoke real thought and true delight without being vulgar or graphic to keep your attention.
