Twilight (DVD, 2009, Limited Retail Exclusive)

I normally don't like movies about vampires. I've always thought they were really corny. But I ended up watching this one, thinking I was going to hate it, and I really enjoyed it.

I really really like this movie. I had already seen it several times both in the theaters and at home. I decided to buy it since it is one I enjoy watching over and over again. I like it because it's got action and romance with a little bit of comedy. The characters are very well developed and the movie is well made. I'm looking forward to the next three installments of this series.

Do not be fooled by the title. Twilight is not your typical vampire picture.
There's not the traditional blood and gore that one would expect. Instead, you will encounter a sweet love story. There are also so many undertones to the movie. It is about the choices we make. Good and evil. Whether we choose to look at the glass half full or half empty. Trust, friendship and unconditional love. It reminds us that no matter what one may encounter in life, how we choose to live our lives is what defines us. This is what makes us who we are. Who we are is not defined by what we are (or are not), how much money we have or what kind of clothes we wear.

This movie is SO inspirational on many levels. I truly believe this is why the movie is so popular with adults and teens alike. Everyone can relate to the basic core elements of the movie (love, jealousy, trust, insecurities and even humor). The way the characters are portrayed slowly and carefully makes the audience want to care about them and what happens next.

The special effects are great; very realistic. I love the baseball scene and when Edwin takes Bella to his special place.

If you decide to buy this movie, you will not regret it. :)

i havent watched this specific dvd...however i have watched the movie and i llve it!!! excellent movie and the saga is excellent too.

i bought this for my daughter who was given the book to read from a friend. she couldn't wait to see the movie afterwards to see the comparisons. i was never a "twilighter" when the first movie came out and all the public talked about and went ga-ga about was twilight. well, i watched the movie with her and loved it! i'm not ga-ga over edward or anything like that but it was an excellent movie. my daughter is now half-way through with the second book and i have the third on hold for her at the library. can't wait to see the second movie!

I really loved this movie! I liked the fact that it was a love story about a vampire and a teenage girl. It was really romantic and the movie was done very well with out alot of inappropiate scenes. It was nice to watch a movie with out nudity and a lot of swearing.

Love this movie, Can't wait for "New Moon". I like the twist & turns, and where it takes you. It has my full attention and does just that. Any movie that takes you from your daily life & wakes up your imagination is what I call entertainment. This cast bring fresh blood to the Big Screen! Kudos to the maker.....>"<

Love this movie. Close to the Book. The Movie protrays the dynamics of love and commitement. It also protrays the eternal bonding of family.

I loved the movie and i bought it off ebay cheaper than retail because it was previously watched and it was still in great condition. It was shipped amazingly fast and I got it way before I expected. I am extremely thrilled about everything from this transaction.

What a wreck of potential. The next biggest teen hit since Harry Potter and they don't just make it bad but it's near intolerable. The soundtrack and score was so wrong in all the ways that discerning a pattern or theme is impossible, in between all the indie pop and wandering mind trails of the music composer and his gymnasium of instruments used. For some reason all the high schoolers in a town of 3,000 seem straight out of somewhere much more urban and larger than that. The ridiculous amount of overacting talentless youth triggers the gag reflex and more annoying than that, no one seems to know how to read lines with honest expression. Since I have seen Stewart play well in other films, I could blame her performance on poor directing.

The 'high contrast/low saturation' film filter is not needed and just makes for a desperate attempt to define what the late 00's movies look like, not to mention it makes so many of the beautiful scenery shots dull and uninteresting. Pattinson, who obviously can't sing, struggles to dismiss his English accent and everything that comes out of his mouth just ends up sounding like he has a canary down his throat. Throughout the whole thing it was filmed in such a way that if I hadn't read the book prior I would have no idea what's going on with the characters or back story. Even though much of the lines were taken verbatim, that doesn't account for why so many attributes of the original story were altered great enough as to change the overall effect itself. Bella is written as a plain girl and although I agree that Kristen Stewart matches that description, here they have her more dolled up and seemingly attractive than the Cullens, who aren't much to look at on screen.

The last 30 minutes of the film were immensely better than all the decent scenes prior combined, but it won't save the sinking ship that led us there.

the overall process was fast. and cheap as well i would buy from seller again. when i recieved the dvd it was just as seller described.

It was a week from the time I made an offer to the time the seller threaten and did put me on the unpaid bad review. He never contacted me to let me know he accepted my offer. I found out he had open an unpaid case by e-mail I give this seller an F on communication.

this is a great movie, i love this movie because it has action and romance. and every woman would love to have someone like Edward love her like he does bella. its a movie you can't get enought of and you watch it over and over again and you don't know why!!!!!! will going to watch it again!!!!!!

This version is pretty cool it has videos and deleted scenes than others don't offer. If you read the books, then you may enjoy the movie too...

Great Movie. Nothing bloody like other vampire type movies and it stays pretty clean. I like the love story part of it. There wasn't really anything that i disliked about the movie

good movie, you know, liking it without admitting it out loud. besides, i just wanted a plain movie, not three disc crap, limited edition. who really cares about that

There is danger when falling in love, but no danger compares to falling in love with a beautiful "monster". This is a spectacular film. It makes you laugh, cry, and grip the edge of your seat. You'll enjoy every moment. Watch "the lion fall in love with the lamb".

THE MOVIE STAYS VERY CLOSE TO THE ORIGINAL BOOK. I AM IMPRESSED WITH THE QUALITY OF THIS WORK AND THE FACT THAT THE DIRECTOR DIDNT DEVIATE FROM THE ORIGINAL TEXT IN PRODUCING THE FILM. A GOOD FILM FOR THE TEEN CROWD, NOT BLOODY, NO HEAVY SEX OR VIOLENCE JUST SOME IMPLIED.

Who does not want to remember that first love, that first kiss, that first time your heart would skip a beat at the sight of the one who was the love of your life at the time? This movie takes you there. It is love story that is ageless. I am so glad I saw the movie before I read the book. The movie takes license and deviates a bit from the book, but nevertheless, remains true to the essential desires of the heart. I have watched it again and again and will continue to do so as not to forget that romance is out there for all of us.

Good romantic teen vampire movie. Some good special effects and great views as they perch in the top of trees. Interesting twist of good vampires protecting humans from the predatory vampires seeking only human blood. Lustful chemistry between the young newcomer to the area and the young male vampire strangely attracted to her.

I have bought a couple of this dvd for family memebers christmas presents. I will buy from this seller again
