Oh Sophie Kinsella, you did not let me down. I now have a new favorite book.
This is an amazing novel. Lara is in a funk: she's delusional regarding her recent ex-boyfriend, Josh, her business partner has left her for a hunk in Goa, and she doesn't want to worry her parents by letting them in on any of her discomfort.
At the dismal funeral of her 105-year-old great-aunt Sadie, Lara meets her ghost. Nobody else can see or hear the wonderful 20's version of Sadie except for Lara.
Twenties girls--they are both in their twenties, Sadie loves the 20's, and Lara learns to appreciate the decade as well. It's impossibly clever.
The ghost of Sadie changes Lara's life forever.
I laughed, I cried, I just couldn't put this book down. Read it. Now!
