A wonderful source for information about TURQUOISE
4 of 6 people found this review helpful.
This book is an excellent source of information for any one that wants to learn about turquoise.
It gives names , pictures and even locations of many domestic turquoise mines. Although this book covers most of the mines it does leave out some vital information.
The examples given are not of all the grades each individual mine produced, or explain the grading process well enough. Keep in mind that most of the examples of turquoise in this book are of the highest grade most of which is very limited. Also keep in mind that most turquoise mines including the famous Lander mine produced more than one grade of material. This will help you further understand the wonderful world of turquoise.
Use this book as one resource for information not your only resource and it will serve you well.
