the Turning by Jennifer Armintrout (2006, Paperback)

This book hooks you from the first page. Very rarely do you find a book that has blood and gore in the first chapter!

The story is great and I found easy to follow.

Although the main charters are vampires, Carrie is very easy to relate to. She fights with herself in pretty much everything she does.

And dont get me wrong, what is a romance without the sex. Let me tell you this book is great for it. Some of it is a little sick for the stomach but all in all it is a great book.

I know everyone that reads it will enjoy it!

Too many vampire books don't bother with doing anything new. This series has lots of unexpected twists and turns. I was quite happy with the plotting and the continuity. The only thing I want to know is where is the next volume, volume four.

This is book one of a new series. There is action,adventure, romance, sex, and of course vampires.
The characters are well thought out and the dialog is realistic and flows very well.

This is book one in a new series by Jennifer Armintrout.
This book was a little easier to follow then the 2nd book the Possession.
But I enjoyed the interactions between Dr. Carrie Ames and Nathan and Ziggy.
Then there is Cyrus.I had a little trouble understanding the "Movement" but other than that it was a good book.

I really enjoyed this book. It has great characters and a great plot. It's a little 'obvious' in some points but after you've read all the vamp books I've read...it's hard to not be. I do like the premise for the continuation of the series. I will read the next ones, because I can't not finish a series...I have to know how it all ends...lol! It's not a spicy as some of the vamp books I've read though. I guess that's not all bad...maybe there will be more spice in future reads...

I bought this book, because I really like books of this caliber. It was a very awesome book, I read it in two days, could not put it down. The story line was so good it just pulls you in. I cant wait for the next book in the series.

This books was excellent. With so many vampire books out there nowadays it's hard to find one that really grabs you, but this one did it for me. The "Evil" vampire was very cool. It reminded me of the Crimson trilogy by Trisha Baker. As an avid vampire book reader I would recommend this to anyone looking for a can't put down, stay up all night reading experience. Can't wait for more from this author. She is on my must buy list now.
