Renaissance Turn of the Cards
I first heard the music of Rennaissane in high school (1976-1978). I have enjoyed their music at least once every day since. I had Prologue, Ashes are Burning, Turn of the Cards, Scheherazade and Other Stories, Live at Carnegie Hall, Novella, and A Song for all Seasons, as albums and wore all of them out listening over and over again. Glad many are now available on CD (Finally!!). Annie Haslam's voice and 5-octave range are just incredible. I still get chills listening to her voice. The musicianship of Michael Dunford, John Tout, and Terence Sullivan only enhance the music. If you like a combination of Rock, Folk, and Classical music I strongly recommend you give this band a listen. It's a real shame bands of this quality are so few and far between.
