Prince and Picknett Update
This book is an update of the authors' 1994 book "Turin Shroud: In Whose Image?" which claimed that not only was the Turin Shroud done by Leonardo Da Vinci, but the face on the shroud was Da Vinci's. This book puts that theory back into the public eye. The authors do make a case for the possibility, and make the most out of disparities in the Shroud's appearance - the head is too small for the body, the front and back images are different heights, the hair hangs down most improbably, etc. Most of their arguments are certainly worth considering. If you haven't read the earlier book, this is certainly one to read; if you have read the earlier book, it's worth it to read responses to the earlier book. If you're a big Shroud fan, on either side of the debate, you should have this book.
