Tuesdays With Morrie (DVD, 2003)

I love Tuesdays with Morrie. I have a friend just like Morrie and he was in a bad car wreck and I had lost touch with him. After seeing this movie I made it a point to see this friend every week. He lives 30 minutes away and he ask was that to far to drive. I showed him the movie and I said it that man can fly 700 miles a week I can dive 30 minutes. I learned a lot about life from this movie. I cry every time I watch it.

I had to get the movie after having read the book. The book, "Tuesdays With Morrie", should be REQUIRED reading for EVERY high school and college student, and also for EVERYONE working in the health care field!

Morrie's lessons on life are wonderful and right on!

And the steady decline of Morrie's health and the care that he continues to need more and more of are a lesson in themselves, for ALL of us.

I can't say enough about the book, and the movie is as good and as close to the book as it could be. PERFECT PERFORMANCES by a PERFECT CAST!

I was looking forward to receiving this book.
what happened? I have parkinsons and I was told at one of our meetings that I should buy this book.

I loved the book, so when I saw there was a movie I watched it. I had a vhs copy from blockbuster. I recently found out that there was a dvd. I was so excited and promptly bid. The acting in this movie is so good you almost forget it is a movie and not real life. It is truly one of the best movies I have ever seen.

this was a great product. I am currently a undergraduate psychology student and this movie has a lot of excellent points in my opinion, I would recomend it to anyone. It really does change the way you view your life, and makes you think of what you can do to improve your view/take on life.

I bought this movie because I loved the book. A friend of mine told me that it had been released on Dvd, and I could never find it! It's great that this company stocked the movie & got it to me quickly! I am very appreciative to find such a hard to find movie!! A++ Thanks!!

This movie was very good. The story is true and Morrie was a man of inspiration and full of fantastic philosophical insights. I ended up purchasing the book,too. Great story!

This is one of the best movies I have ever seen. Although the plot is obvious from the start, the wisdon Morrie has and the lifes lessons he has to pass on is the legacy he leaves not only to his friend but to all of us if we listen. If we could all take away something Morrie has to give and exercise it this world would be a much better place. It is not about a life that is ending but life as it should be.

I love this movie! It has an excellent story behind it! It made me think about friends and others whom I have told I would stay in touch with and haven't. It is a very touching movie!!

This was a very moving family movie that really grabs you. I originally bought it after my kids were required to read the book & really enjoyed it. I decided to watch the movie & am glad that I did. We all truly enjoyed it. A wonderful way to enjoy family time & learn a few life lessons.

When this movie came out, people were commenting on how great it was, but I never got to see it until I recently found it on ebay. This is a very inspirational story of a man who is dying and his thoughts on love and life that he leaves to his former student. It only takes one person to change your life forever.

I purchased this DVD after having rented it from my Netflix. It is a wonderful movie and very moving. Jack Lemmon and the whole cast are so very excellent in the roles they play that I felt very associated with their words.
Being a senior citizen, now living with my older son and his wife, found that some of the subjects they touched on really hit home with me. Many tears were shed, but I still finished the movie feeling much better about my situation. I cannot recommend this movie enough and am considering buying it for my sister, and my other children. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share my feelings.

A great movie. It teaches you not to be a selfish person but how to reach out to a person when they need you the most. This really helped me thru a personal crisis with a family member of my own. It helped to be patient and more understanding. This was my guideline--to learn to listen to others!

My mom and I live next door to one another and try to watch a movie once a week together. She suggested Tuesdays With Morrie. I am so glad she did.
This movie has a great deal to say, not just to the characters involved, but to all of us who think we are too busy to call a friend, write someone a note, stop and see a relative who might not be doing too well ~ you know, just taking the time to let someone know that we care. After all, what is really more important than sharing a minute (or two) of our time with someone who gave a lot more of theirs with us!
Tuesdays With Morrie has a small but excellent cast of characters. Jack Lemmon is at height of his excellent and long career, as Morrie. Hank Azaria, as Mitch, an old student of Morrie's, is terrific. If someone can walk away from this film unaffected, I would suggest they make an appointment immediately to see a psychiatrist. ALS (also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease) is only a part of the story ~ and in my view, not even the main part. The real story is about sharing ourselves with each other. Taking the time as often as possible to tell the people in our lives that they matter. We never know how much time we are going to have with anyone. When we become elderly that can be the loneliest time of our lives but it can also be the time we have the most to share.
I looked at my mother throughout this movie and I could tell that she was relating to Morrie in so many ways with her own life. I thought, what have I given her? It doesn't seem enough. Morrie told me the answer to my question ~ just give her me!

The movie was delieverd quickly and was in great shape. It was even packaged correctly. This movie was great I heard the book was good also.

i like the book better. there is only so much you can put in a movie. it's based on a true story. and i like those. arrived in good condition.

This is a great movie, I watched it and I stayed in love with it.
The DVD I just bought it's sealed so I imagine is in perfect conditions.

Great movie, an instant classic. Worth seeing, great life lessons. I recommend it to anyone young or older.

I had an instore customer read the book and wanted to know if it was made on dvd so I ordered it for them to watch.

Its a touching story about life and death. About the living who are dying and dying who are living. Pick up a copy from your local video place or spend the few dollars for a real treat and a great lesson of the power of love.

This movie means so much to me. The year it aired on TV, My sister had just passed away from ALS, and it is such a dreadful disease. This movie and also the book really touched my heart. Thanks, Paula Hill, Osceola, Arkansas.

Obviously, the book was better than the movie, but it was still worth seeing it on the screen. Jack Lemon was super.
