Tucker: The Man and His Dream (DVD, 2000, Special Edition - Sensormatic)

This is such a great story! I love cars anyway, but this movie was very well done. My wife, not really caring to see it at all, finally broke down and watched it with me. She has been going on and on to friends and neighbors about it since then.

i decided to buy because my dad said it was good. i never know there was a car called a tucker and only 50 were made it had a lot of funny parts in it. great acting and based on true life i loved it now i need to buy another cause i gave mine to my dad. if you have a father thats into cars buy him this.

Great movie. I had to watch it for an entrepreneur course I am taking over the summer and was not excited to watch this movie only because it was old and I had never heard of it, but it turned out to be a great movie. I would definitely recommend this movie to all ages.

I bought this because I had to watch it to write a paper for school and could not find it at the movie rental. It was inexpensive and convenient. Overall the movie was good and the shipment was quick. Thanks a bunch!

As far as this dvd, we haven't received it yet,so I cannot give a good review at this time. We originally saw the movie on vhs and really enjoyed it. My son is doing a "huge" class project on Preston Tucker and is planning on playing the dvd during his presentation; if it ever arrives on time!!

This movie based on the true story of a great-minded fellow American was wonderful. The cast or actors, the crew and locations were great, but the car itself stole the show!!!

Historic story about Preston Tucker and the car he tried to launch but the government got in his way. His ideas went on without him as he died in 1956. Great performances by Jeff Bridges, Joan Allen, Martin Landau, Christian Slater, Frederick Forrest and more.

The movie, was very good. It really opens your eyes about the burecratic process of destroying someone that has a "new Idea"

Great movie depicting how a person with a dream and positive attitude coupled with the desire to succed can be acheived. It also displays two examples of how our government can controle our success.

This is one of my all time favorite movies I saw it when it first came out on video in 1989 and finally decided to buy it recently.I decided to buy it because I love old cars and Tuckers story reminds me of what the BIG 3 did to AMC another innovative company that had great ideas including the first 4 wheel drive AMERICAN car remember the Eagle wagons?If you like a good underdog story with lots of great actors buy Tucker you wont be dissapointed.

This is about Preston Tucker and his car. The most interesting part of the saga is how corrupt politicians and our goverment crush his company and his dream. Great well told story of our free enterprise system and work.

I bought this DVD as a Christmas gift for my Dad. It was neat to sit down and watch a story about something that occurred during my dad's lifetime, even if it was just a small event about one man. It really made for good family time, to all sit down and watch this movie. We all loved the story and how inspiring it was to all of us.

Tucker the movie I never recieved it so I can't soy anything good at this time. I Bought it because it was hard to find, I guess the one I bought it from finds it hard to find too!

Excellent movie. We saw a Tucker at the auto museum in Tupelo, MS where it was considered to be the favorite car over more than 100 others. We highly recommend this movie as well as a chance to see the car One may go online and locate some of the Tuckers.

Decided to buy because we had it on vhs and really enjoyed it. It is a terrific story about a man's dream to build a car that is ahead of its time. you learn the story of how it is possible to follow your dreams.

I am a huge fan of the 48 Tucker mostly because of this movie. That is the reason that I bought it. If you do not know the story its a great movie about a man and his dream.
