Vampires Like You Have NEVER Seen-- SPOILER ALERTS!

First, I must admit I am not a fan of vampire movies.
Having said that, this movie was-- at a minimum-- DIFFERENT.
From here on in be warned that SPOILER ALERTS are in effect for almost anything I have to say about Tsui Hark's Vampire Hunters, except, of course, that it is available under more than one title.
If you accept that zombies are the immature form of vampires, that vampires look like rotting corpses, that zombie wranglers can reanimate and control random dead people, that vampires cannot see wet people, and that the only effective method of battling a vampire is to use high explosives because even cutting off its head is ineffective--
THEN THIS IS THE MOVIE FOR YOU!
The progression line is set up as if people are the eggs, and then some, for various contradictory reasons given in the movie, "hatch" into zombies, and that zombies that feed and survive "mature" into vampires.
There is a huge amount of martial arts-- of equally logical levels to the vampire story.
On top of all of this the movie is actually entertaining, moves quickly, and manages to entertain.
Amazing.
