Truth in Sincerity * by Amber Pacific (CD, May-2007, 2 Discs, Hopeless)

My title says it all. If you liked "The Possiblity and the Promise" (their second CD, first full length album), then you will like this CD without question. However, this CD does not stand up to "TPATP" lyrically or instrumentally. The lyrics are more mainstream and the instrumentation is less punk. In fewer words, this is their sell-out album. It's not all bad though. There are some good songs, some fun to sing with.

As a stand-alone album, this CD might get 5 stars. But knowing the quality of work that the boys of Amber Pacific are capable of, I can only give it 4. Definitely worth a listen and possibly a purchase.

No doubt. The title says it all. And it's true. ''Truth in Sincerity'' is the best pop punk album released in 2007.
Do you like pop punk as it's made last years, like All Time Low? It's your album, you'll get satisfied with songs like ''You're Only Young Once'', ''Temporary'' or ''Fall Back into My Life''.
Maybe you prefer fast pop punk, near skatepunk or melodic hardcore? That's also your album. Songs like ''Summer (In B)'' or ''Runaway'' (featuring lead singer by MxPx) will make your day.
And even if you are crazy for love rock/punk balads, this is your album. With songs like ''Take Me from This Place'' and ''Watching Over Me'' you will replay this album again and again.
