The Truth About Cats and Dogs (DVD, 2001)

This movie was not what I expected, but in a good way. It is about looks not always being everything and seeing through the exterior, had a great story line. The moral was what is inside is what counts. When I bought it I didnt even look at what it was about so I was surprised when I liked it more than I thought I would. Overall it was a good movie.

This is one of those fun romantic comadies about how we perseve ourselves, how others perseve us and about how very different those two things are --- The movie starts with jenneane garofalo setting up a date with a guy who she meets on the radio - She then gets her neigbore (uma thermen) to pretend to be her so that he doesn't find out how "hidiously ugly" she is --- when The truth comes out who will he chose beauty or Brains???

A funny movie, but definitaly a girlie movie. It is a romantic comedy. A radio talk show girl gets a crush on a guy but is to shy to talk to him because she is afraid he won't like the way she looks. She has her friend pretend that she is her. A very good movie

The title to this movie is misleading, other than the fact that the main female character is an animal doctor/radio personality. This is a cute movie of mistaken identity gone crazy.

I absolutely love this movie! I identify with Abby and can understand how she feels about herself and how her insecurities can get in the way. I have a sister that looks a lot like Noel...so i have been in her shoes. I cannot resist watching this movie anytime it comes on. I'm very happy that i will have it on DVD now. :)

One of my favorite movies! Janeane Garofalo and Uma Thurman are great in this, add Ben Chaplin then you have a wonderful romantic comedy. Have watched it every time it comes on cable, thought it was time to purchase the DVD. It's good to see the underdog win or that's what Dr. Abby Barnes thinks she is.

This is a wonderful movie. If this movie doesn't teach you to always be truthful about yourself I don't know what will. This is really a cute movie and you will enjoy it very much. Short girls with a little extra weight can get the good looking guy to.

Cute little romance with a very happy ending! Easy watch, with out all of the usually smut found in romance. I would not be embarassed to watch this with my daughters!

This movie is so hilarious, yet also very poignant. A great movie for anyone struggling with self-esteem and self-confidence issues. This is Janeane Garofalo at her absolute best! Very charming feel-good movie!

The Truth About Cats and Dogs is very, very good comedy which makes you feel
film that you everyhone can enjoy watching.

Friendship and love interact with each other as a veterinarian and her friend swap identities. Great dog in this movie too.
