I bought this album the day of release.
C-Murder aka Corey Miller(Master P's brother) recorded this album while in prison serving a life sentence for First Degree Murder.
The beats are generic, and you can tell the vocal quality is low (Recorded on a mini-cassette by his attorney at visiting sessions)
With guest appearances from artists such as B.G., the late Soulja Slim and Curen$y.
You can hear the anguish in C-Murder's voice.. Pain, remorse, confusion, hatred.
This is a somber, almost depressing album with a message of "It can't get any worse, I am at my breaking point"
I'm not saying it's bad, I like it.
but, it isn't a masterpiece.
To me, it seems like they just tried to toss something together while publicity was surrounding the murder case in order to generate more sales.
