True Light by Terri Blackstock (2007, Paperback)

This is the third book in the Restoration Series by Terri Blackstock. All three books have been insightful, and full of mystery. How would you, your friends, and neighbors survive without electricity or any of the conveniences that are provided because of electricity and/or electronics? What do you do when the shelves in the store are empty, transportation as you know it comes to a screaching halt, and water no longer runs through your faucets? A good look into human character.

My wife has all of her books and finds her a top-notch author. I purchased this book to help complete her collection of Terri Blackstone's books. My wife highly recommends this book as well as all of her books. Remember, all Teri Blackstone's books are excellent reading.

This is the 3rd book in the series, and a contiuation of a family in a distressful situation. Their distress has helped us prepar for possibilities that may be ahead in order for us to save our home in this economic situation. I have already lost my job and my truck driver husband has seen a decline in his miles. We are having to learn to live without, coupon hunt, and what is really important in life. We, like the family in this book, are Christians too and have really realized the significance of what is important in our relationship with each other and our neighbors. We are planting a garden, canning our own food, and looking for any other ideas that may be helpful to save our cash flow--the worst thing would be to loose our home that we have worked so hard for. We think you will enjoy this series as much as we have. Its definitely enlightening. I read them, then give it to my husband to read on the road. Share it with your whole family. Stop worring about money and giving your kids everything you did not get. Worry about the really important things in your family. Do you have a roof over your head? Do you have food to eat? Is at least one of you working? Then be prepared to shut the power off and really survive like our grandparents did in a community and family that learn how to take care of each other.

My neighbor loaned me these books. I just couldnt' put them down. The things that happen in these books are things that could happen to us if we didn't have the energy resourses. The characters are so enjoyable. I loved these so much that I bought the complete set for myself. I know I will read them over and over.

Very good book. Links all the characters and plots from all the books in the series. I highly recommend this reading. Would recommend beginning with the first in the series and follow them thru the whole series. Another release will be out possibly in May 2008, which will be the 4th in the series... It will be titled Dawns Light...

I bought the first 2 books of this series at a yard sale over the summer. I had never read anything by Terri Blackstock before. I sat down and read the first book within 2 days and just as fast on the 2nd one. I was hooked. I now own about 20 books by this author. The Light series is my absolute favorite so far!! Hope she finishes the 4th book really fast!!

I have been reading the series, and didn't want to pay store price for the newest book. It worked out great for me. I can't wait for the next one.

It was a great novel. I can not wait until the next book arrives! It had lots of intriguing ideas about how to cope without electricity. The natural feelings and spiritual challenges the characters experience are so truly understandable!
