Watched the first half of the season on HBO and then didn't
have HBO any more and didn't see the second half of the
first season. So... I had to buy it. Had to see who done it!

I am addicted to this series!
The Southern culture of the States and their heady Summers steam through the screen with all the 'y'all's you expect. The 'Southern-Belle' meets Darkness personified story has the twist of true Southern poise and charm through our vampire's stately manner.
Bill is not what you'd expect a vampire to be if all you've seen are the movies about blood-sucking and depravity.
Sookie is our Southern Belle without the ruffles and frills of Scarlett O'Hara. She also has an unusual ability or two. These gifts keep Bill fighting all who stand in their way and who may hurt Sookie.
There is a colourful array of characters to choose your personal favourite from, and the storyline is so much more than a blood-sucker story! You'll be sucked-in from the first. True Blood the set i never gotI bought this set for my wife because she read the hole searies of books.we rented the first two dvds and liked it.I went on line and bought the set from a person that was rated very well.wated two weeks email the person never got no responce.filed a complanit with ebay and never heard anthing from ebay.I am very upset about not receiveing the set but ebay should have contacted me and never did.

I love true blood. When I seen that it was on sale for so cheap, I had to buy it. The person I bought it from was in China and I still got my DVD set in 3 days. It was greatly appriciated.

) I heard all the rave of this new Vampire series on HBO, so I bought it. I like the whole theory that with "True Blood", a synthetic blood replacement, now Vampires can coexist with humans. Interesting concept. It was shipped to me from Hong Hong and it arrived in a very timely manner undamaged. I would this series and this seller also.

Can't wwait for Season 2!The show was put together good... the charters were played good... I loved the fact that they brought the books that I read to life, but I did not like the fact that some of the story lines were way off. If I would have never read the books, I would still Love the show... but reading them, then watching the show, I could not give it an excellent. If it was more true to the saga, I would give it the highest rating possible. I have to say though, I have my husband & daughter hooked on it now. They have never read the books, and love the show.

This is truly a gripping series. I couldn’t stop watching it! It draws you into it in the first 15 minutes of the first DVD disc. It keeps you wanting more. I can’t wait for the next season to come out. LOVE IT!!!

I read all the Ture Blood books first then decided to buy the Season 1 boxed set! It was wonderful. I loved putting a face to the names I had read about in the books. Really good story line! Can't wait until Season 2 is out on disk so I can buy that one as well!! Would recommend this set to any vampire lover!

While it was good, I had read the books and besides the same names, they are nothing alike! But it is entertaining and I do want to see what happens next (since I don't know, due to the difference from the books!).

Some of the discs don't play in my DVD player...The picture distorts and freezes (Some sort of digital thing)...However, they play fine in my computer...I got a little frustrated when I had to leave my 40inch TV half way through an episode because the disc wouldn't play and finish that episode at my pc. Not sure if it's the dics or the DVD player...However, still a good buy I don't regret!

It was $35-$40 less than Target, Avoid imediate gratification and you will be happy that you did? I saw the second season of True Blood but missed the first. I'm very happy I decided to but the didn't realize how much character and plot questions it would truly answer. It was a great decision. It also made remembering the second eason that much more enjoyable.

I love this show! Alan Ball, the director of Six Feet Under does it again, this smash hit is back with a second season and having the first season to trade with others or introduce them to the show is great. My item came in PERFECt condition as if I had driven to the store myself to buy it. Shipping from China in about 2 weeks, not too bad! beautiful condition, great seller!
