Watched the first half of the season on HBO and then didn't
have HBO any more and didn't see the second half of the
first season. So... I had to buy it. Had to see who done it!

I am addicted to this series!
The Southern culture of the States and their heady Summers steam through the screen with all the 'y'all's you expect. The 'Southern-Belle' meets Darkness personified story has the twist of true Southern poise and charm through our vampire's stately manner.
Bill is not what you'd expect a vampire to be if all you've seen are the movies about blood-sucking and depravity.
Sookie is our Southern Belle without the ruffles and frills of Scarlett O'Hara. She also has an unusual ability or two. These gifts keep Bill fighting all who stand in their way and who may hurt Sookie.
There is a colourful array of characters to choose your personal favourite from, and the storyline is so much more than a blood-sucker story! You'll be sucked-in from the first. Sexy, modern, fresh, but with the echoes of all the Southern charm you could wish for - a journey to a place I know I could happily live.

TrueBlood First SeasonI read the entire series of books before even realizing that the TV show was based on them, so I was really interested to see how they made the TV show. It was great! I got this as a Christmas gift and my husband and I have already watched the entire series because it's so addictive. I am not one to make a big deal out of changes from the book to the TV/movie version, but there are severaly noticeable changes in the storyline. A lot of it is true to the books, which is nice, but a lot of it is also different, so it's interesting to watch the show even if you have read the books. It was great and we can't wait to see the next season. We *almost* like it enough to order HBO for when the third season airs.

This DVD is cursed.
) I don't like it. Can't seem to ever get it to view it. I decided to buy it (twice and never receive it) because I like vampire stuff. But this is more like Bigfoot than vampires. There were sightings, but no actual hard proof.

true blood dvds first and second seasoni received these dvds for christmas. when istarted watching them the first dvd was fine. but when i continued to watch the rest of them they were messing up such as they skipped and froze these dvds are of poor quality and i would either like to have them replaced or the money back so i can replace them because i really like the series. i have been waiting a long time to get these and i was very disappointed in the quality of these dvds

I received my order in good time, but only received one disc with 2 episodes. It was packaged nicely, but not what I thought I ordered. I emailed the seller, and they said it was advertised with 2 eps. They said they would give me a credit on future purchases, but also it sounded like I wasn't their first complaint about it. I dropped it, and took it as a loss. Thought maybe they were right. Until I received this from you (ebay). Now I know I ordered the complete first season. Very disappointed.

My husband and I got True Blood season 1 for Christmas, and absolutely LOVE it!! It's SO addictive! We were so upset when it ended, I had to buy season 2! Great show, I recommend it to everyone! except small children, of course... ;)

TRUE BLOOD SEASON II heard about this HBO show and I LOVE vampire books, movies, shows. You could call me a vampire junkie. I decided to give this DVD a try since I do not have HBO. The show is awsome, but some episodes a bit racey in the sexual content. I would highly recomend this series to adult viewers who like vampire story lines with the mystery of a detective who done it plot.

True Blood Rocksbought it as a gift for mi sister bc I love the show! My daughter introduced me to twilight (she is 12) that's the reason I jumped on this vampire wagon. True Blood is awesome, I don't think it's appropriate for her bc of all of the sexual content but can't wait till she geys older (maybe 5 mpore years) so that we can watch it together.....

A Must HaveIf you love Vampire series this is the one to watch. It has a book series to follow if you are a reader that likes to see shows or movies made on the book. This is a series that keeps you wanting more and on your feet. Season 2 is even better. Cannot wait for Season 3. Catch up now with this season!

Beware of Reproductions of This SeriesFirst...I loved this sexy piece. Anna Paquin WOW! She has grown up since starring with Holly Hunter in "THE PIANO". She was just a babe. I liked this series on America & Vampires better than most movies on Vampire life. The opening song fits.
Second...Beware of sellers that are selling the HBO sets as true blue HBO sets. I bid on my set, not reading the entire listing & then realizing it was coming from China. The last disc, I couldn't even watch as it would not load & shut down my entire DVD player. My husband had to open up the DVD player to extract it. When I started watching the first disc, I was skeptical because it was grainy & now & then, I would see flashing green specs on the screen. This is an indication that there was an over-ride on the scrambling or blocking signal. Whoever made these disc was quite clever.
Third...Just make sure that the seller guarantees these sets to be real & authentic from HBO. True you have to pay top dollar but, it is worth it in the long run.
Fourth...I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SERIES IF YOU LIKE LOVE, BLOOD & SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY!!!

I decided to buy this because it would have been a great gift for Christmas. I purchased this on the 10th of December. It was the first christmas gift I purchased. It's the 24th and I"m without the present for my family that I don't see that often.
Dont get me wrong the seller is great. She kept communicating with me every step of the way to keep me informed as the why the product hadnt shipped yet. She's seems very nice. But this isn't anyway to run a business. You have to have a backup plan. Somebody else who can mail the product for you or bring them with you. If you have another job that requires you to travel always be ready if plans change.
I know it would have been heavy to bring all the dvd sets but don't sell them unless you're sure you can send them. I spent alot of money on them and could have bought something else. I'm very upset that while we're all under the christmas tree opening presents i'm going to look like I didn't get anything for my mom and sis. I'm very disappointed.
I would say if you need something by a certain date I wouldn't buy from her. If it's not time sensitive by all means do so. The customer service was excellent otherwise but doesn't mean much without the product. I paid same day if I have a time limit to pay I think there should be a time limit to send something.
