Watched the first half of the season on HBO and then didn't
have HBO any more and didn't see the second half of the
first season. So... I had to buy it. Had to see who done it!

I am addicted to this series!
The Southern culture of the States and their heady Summers steam through the screen with all the 'y'all's you expect. The 'Southern-Belle' meets Darkness personified story has the twist of true Southern poise and charm through our vampire's stately manner.
Bill is not what you'd expect a vampire to be if all you've seen are the movies about blood-sucking and depravity.
Sookie is our Southern Belle without the ruffles and frills of Scarlett O'Hara. She also has an unusual ability or two. These gifts keep Bill fighting all who stand in their way and who may hurt Sookie.
There is a colourful array of characters to choose your personal favourite from, and the storyline is so much more than a blood-sucker story! You'll be sucked-in from the first. Dont worry it's not like Twilight.I am not a vampire lover but this is the one of better shows I have seen. I would recommend you watch this show I cant wait for the second season come out on DVD.

Buying boxed sets on E-bay

I was so excited when I saw this product offered up by ebay on the main page and I clicked the "buy it now" feature right away. The seller has a good rate at the time that I bought it. After a few weeks, I checked the status of my order and saw that the seller's rating had gone down to 80-something percent. I started reading the newest reviews and everyone was in the same boat I was. Its been almost a month and a half and I recieved no communication from the seller and I still havent been refunded my money from ebay. Ive been shopping on ebay for years and this made me make a lot of changes regarding my shopping. Its a shame.

Excellent SeriesI read the True Blood books first and really enjoyed them. Since I don't have HBO, I decided to buy the 1st season and compare to the books. Although, I enjoyed the books more, the 1st season of True Blood was very entertaining and worth purchasing. I'm looking forward to Season 2.
