True Beauty by Mandisa (CD, Jul-2007, Sparrow Records)

I recently saw Mandisa in concert, loved her, but didn't want to stand in a long line to buy her CD. It is a great CD with alot of variety in her style of music. It has definitely been a blessing to me and worth every penny I spent!

Myself when I heard she was releasing under a Christian record label was a little nervous due to the fact that a lot of christen artist tend to get so wrapped up in worship they forget to truly feel the song and do what they do best …sing!

However Mandisa passed all my expectations I had for this CD. I have found myself humming the chorus to most of her songs, and for those of you wondering what she sounds like she has the vocals of Gladys Knight and Beyonce but the power of Mariah Carey, Whitney Huston and Jennifer Hudson.

Over all my favorite song is by far the one first track Only the World. If you’re the type of person who loves music and just wants to hear someone with a newer vocal sound without all the drama or rap this is your chance I strongly recommend this CD for any Mandisa fan or Music Lover!!!!!!!

Love the music. Great variety of songs. If you were impressed with Mandisa on TV you will not disappointed in this CD. My favorite of the two CDs she has out.

I decided to buy the Mandisa True Beauty CD because my daughter and I had just got back from a Women of Faith weekend. My daughter has been a Mandisa fan since American Idol and we had bought a CD at the concert but wanted to enjoy more of her songs. She got the idea to look on ebay and was so happy to have won the CD. She listens to it everyday and has downloaded it to her Zune so that she can take it with her. She listens to it so much that I have the songs memorized also. There is nothing about the CD that we don't like.

Mandisa has a beautiful voice. This is my favorite CD right now. Very empowering for women and girls and for christians of both genders. The CD has a variety of music styles, and the lyrics are inspired.

I decided to purchase this CD because I really liked Mandisa from American Idol. This CD is absolutely wonderful! It has been such a blessing to me. When I first heard it, I cried and began to worship God right there in my living room! There is a song about what beauty truly is, and the other songs are praising and worshipping God. Her voice is phenomenal! This CD is a true gem and you won't be disappointed! Also, buy two so you can bless someone else with it!

This CD is amazing! My kids love to listen to it. The message is Godly and the music is FUN!

I love this CD. Mandisa's voice is superb, from her quiet tones to her soaring notes. I first came to know of her when she was a contestant on American Idol. I was impressed with her demeanor while under intense scrutiny. She kept her witness and her light for Christ shone in even that secular arena. I highly recommend this CD.

I loved her on "American Idol". She was a true diva. She has an amazing & uplifting voice. Her songs are trendy & spiritual. My favorite songs are ONLY THE WORLD & TRUE BEAUTY. I enjoy this cd on the ride to & from work, at work, & at home. Keep 'em coming Mandisa.

Usually, a CD will have only a couple tracks which you really like. Not true about this one -- I LOVE every song on this CD! It's upbeat and energizing as well as inspiring. One of the best CDs which I have purchased in years! You will really be happy you bought this one!

I love this CD. If only everyone could think about life like this, If we could only all trust in the Divine providence of God to carry us through the world and it's problems .

I first saw Mandisa on American Idol and I KNEW right away that she had true talent and a big heart.

The entire CD is EXCELLENT and I can't wait to see how God will use her to write more. Every song is speaking so clearly what I believe GOD is using her to say. My children even love her and know her. They like singing the song with Toby Mac on it. It is a contemporary style of gospel, but it is really, really nice.
