Troy (DVD, 2005, 2-Disc Set, Full Frame)

I liked this movie mainly for all the fighting scenes in it. As for story line of the actuall Trojan War well that's a different story. It hardly had anything to do with the main story of the Trojan War expect the wooden horse which was about it for the big main events of the war. Also, Troy being made out to be the 'good' guys was kind of a shock for me since I have been exposed to the Oddessy far too much and always favored the Greeks.

Excellent epic tale about the life and times of Achilles and the war that took place long ago. Great action scenes, location and cinematography.

Great movie. Follows right along with the original story. Brad Pitt was the perfect actor for the part of Achilles.

I liked this movie because of the strong characters the fighting the battling between to kings is an amazing movie loved it and will recommend it to anyone that loves soldier movies

this is one of the best of pitt's moves.and eric bana plays an excellent roll. in all the whole movie works. the editing is almost without flaw.

I chose to purchase "Troy", because it's a great movie packed with history, love, intense drama, violence, and great acting by actors/actresses I like. This is the second DVD of "Troy" I have bought, the first one was borrowed- and never returned.

None stop action and superb acting all the way throughout the movie, without a doubt Brad Pitt out did himself on his acting !!!

movie is in awsome condition but case came broken the broken part had a sticker on it like if it was hidding the broken part

The fight scene is good, but the ending suck. A young couple fell in love and some other has to die for their crap. I would never pay to go see it in theater. It just a waste of time.

Item was in perfect condition as described, delivery was quick, smooth transaction, I decided to buy because I wanted that movie, and the price was just right, .99 cents, you can't beat that, and they don't overcharge for shipping like a lot of sellers do to compensate for the price of the item.

Brad Pitt does an excellent job of portraying this ancient hero. His demeanor all during the movie was superb and his moves were very well orchastrated especially with the sword, shield and spears. The story of Troy and their enemies have long been mentioned in history and the deception with the horse idol was right on target. Achilles death was sad, but the term "Achilles heel" rose from this historical battle to become part of our language today. I would rate this movie at 10 on the scale of 1 to 10. Highly recommend that anyone who loves these type stories of history buy this DVD. It has a few scenes on it that are not shown on tv movies. Top-notch film of the decade!

Oh, my God, what a hunk of a man. Brad is absolutely gorgeous. I couldn't get through the entire movie because I can not watch a violent movie. But, Brad inspired me. What a gorgeous piece of specimen.

I am not a Brad Pitt fan. My daughter wanted this movie. I think it is pretty boring. There is plenty of action but Brad is very uninteresting.

This is a wonderful movie. Brad Pitt at his finest. Very realistic battle scenes. Great acting by all. Eric Bana was terrific. Lots of beef cake in this film, except for Orlando Bloom (wimpy). You could really sympathize with so many of the characters pain. Bonus disc gave really good insite into the making of this movie. Really good casting and costumes.

This is a very good movie if you like action, which I do. It has very good actors and a good story line. Not sure how historic it is but you know Hollywood. I purchased it because it is a movie that over a period of time I will watch it over again.

I really enjoyed the movie as it is a true story even my kids enjoyed it, it shows that war started way back before we can remember and never give up for what you believe in, Brad Pitt is a GREAT ACTOR.
