Great for adults better for childern.ANyone who liked the movie should read the book.Take the three childern and puts them into a series of terrible events (with some brief good times).It will put your mind to work to believe in the impossible.

) I really liked these books because they were very good. They were very good because they had a lot of action and they were very funny. I would recommend these books to every one because I loved it!!!! I decided to buy these books because when I was little my mom use to read them to me and I remembered how much I liked them so I bought them. So in conclusion this is a very good book and I think in your life time you should read it.

) This set of books is a great style of reading for my son and who has only recently moved from dinosaur and animal books. He loved the movie, so I'm sure he'll love the books. We also just finished reading a 2 book series called Solomon Snow written in a very contemporary Dickens style and he LOVED them. This seemed like a perfect add-on.

I bought this series for my eight year old son because it was suggested for his leveled reading for school. I was told that the series was funny, but a little dark. I found these books (as an adult) to be very dark and inappropriate for anyone younger than a teenager. Three children who are orphaned when their parents are killed in a fire that destroys their home and are sent to live with a drunken, abusive uncle who makes slaves out of them is not enertaining. The books are beautiful and in great shape, but they will probably never be read. Very disappointing.
