Tromeo & Juliet (DVD, 1997, Uncensored)

Watching this movie was a somewhat interesting experience, because it was twisted, with disgusting scenes of voilence and a story full of incest. If you know and like Troma movies in general or like raunchy B movies with sexual content then this movie is OK, or possibly even good. If you are interested in this because you want to see an interesting new take on the great play Romeo and Juliet, avoid this version. I did not regret buying this movie but i will not watch it again.

Here are some details about the movie, so if you want the content to be fresh when you watch it then you might want to skip this paragraph. In one of the first scenes, a lady has her nipple pierced, and this is not special effect, its just a video of the real thing with the people doing it in character. Juliet is abused by her father extensively. In the end of the movie there is a plot twist: Tromeo is actually Juliet's brother, but they decide that they will stay together; they live happily ever after with mutated children and a white-picket-fence.

I did not regret buying this movie but i will not watch it again, and i will not keep it in my collection for long. I certainly won't forget this one.
