The Trip (DVD, 2003)

I think this is a movie that tells alot about life. Most of us dont see it from this propective but it could have been a story about a guy and a girl and it would still work. Some of it is really sad but it is a must see for everyone. It reflexs the time in which it takes place and is very acurate for that time period. The acting is great and the story is very eye opening. Iam a open minded person but this movie opened up my mind even further. worth watching. *****

This was a good movie and had some humor in it to be a drama which was good. I enjoyed watching this movie. The dvd arrived quickly and was priced great. It was also in great shape when it arrived.

If you look around you'll notice that the reviews on this movie are quite mixed. Personally it is my favorite as I can relate to it on a somewhat personal level. Many part of the movie remind me of my partner and I. I'm not one to watch movies more than once, but this one I've seen many times and it's still the tear jerker it was the very first time I saw it.

Give it a shot and you'll see what I mean, or maybe you won't :)

I loved the movie, and although I agreed with the end ...it was hard not to expect some hope.

If you have not seen this movie you really should it is really great. Its.Funny and touching , nostalgic and sad, romantic and pretty great with the production values considering that it must have been made on a shoestring budget. It has stayed with me for days and i can't remember the last time any film did that.

I would first like to start of and say this is a must see movie. It has placed an interesting view on homosexuality through out the later 20th. century. Alexis is so Stereo-Typically gay it is pure humor when he comes onto the screen. this is a must see for all of you reading this. There are some Gay-Oriented movies out there and all they focus on is SEX,SEX,SEX! and I'm like ... Come on there has got to be another topic to base a Gay film on. This movie does that. It's a Love story that has all the key elements of a great story. Unfortunately, like in most gay films it has a sad ending. But this is a MUST SEE..

I knew i would watch this film many times and needed to own it. It is funny and romantic. I recommend it to anyone 18 or older.

Bought this movie on recomendation from a friend. I don't cry often at a movie but the ending of THE TRIP brought me to tears. Excellent movie....maybe a little cheaply made in certain areas but overall def worth the money. I have watched it 3 times and will do so many more in time I'm sure. If the ending doesn't get you, you're heart is frigid.

funny, real life situation but at same time sad mainly the end. i beleive it hits more homes than people really knows.
