Tricks Of The eBay Masters by Michael Miller (2004, Paperback)

I consider this book excellent.
I find that it is a balanced presentation of the pros and cons of various aspects of buying and selling on eBay. Fair and balanced book.

Michael Miller has done what many of us have often thought of doing. Putting together the tips and tricks that we who frequent (haunt?) the eBay boards impart to those stumbling along seeking answers.

The author has taken the best advice given on eBay chat boards by sellers and buyers who have generously donated their time to help others.
Unfortunately, not all the information given there is accurate. Michael Miller has sifted out the chaff and brought us the wheat. Accurate, timely information to help you as you navigate buying and selling on eBay.

If you had to choose just one reference work to help you with buying and selling on eBay, this is the book I would recommend. Very good index, easy to read format.

Michael Miller’s book has the book divided into useful sections and the sections consist of various tips. If you aren’t interested in a tip or topic you can easily pass it by. A unique feature of this book is that the tips come from actual eBay sellers who are named. You can look up the sellers on eBay and see what they sell and how they run their operations. There’s nothing like profiting from the experience of others. Tips in photography, item description hints and more will help to increase the final value your item sells for. Both sides of issues are explored in this book, example: Sell Internationally or Don’t Sell Internationally. The book offers both sides of the debate, to let YOU, the seller, run your business the way you want to. Buy this book or borrow it from the library – your time and money will be well spent. Just make sure you grab a pencil and notebook - these tips are worth looking back at, and utilizing.

I have been an eBayer for 3 1/2 years and just opened by eBay store. I was looking for a book that could help me. This book was perfect and with great actual best practices by ebay sellers. This book has helped my business and provided excellent guidelines. The book is easy and simple to read and is a readers best friend. I stronley recommend tjis book for all eBayers. I thought I was educated on eBay selling and buying. This book made me better.

Like the new ideas that I'd never considered. The How To Shipping section shows how to save money and time in shipping. I've been selling on eBay a little over a year, and have read many books on "how to eBay". This book covers most, and a little more than, what was in all of the other books. Would have saved a ton of money if I had purchased this book first. I also like that the ideas and suggestions come from many different sellers and in their own words. Highly recommend this book for beginners and established sellers.

I love this book. It's more than I thought I was buying. It was well worth my money helping me to start my Ebay buisness. Very helpful!
