Ten years have past since Dr. Tim Le Haye & Jerry B. Jenkins first published the book Left Behind. It became wildly popular & they continued the story into a whole series of books. I think there are currently 12 books to the set. Based on interpretation of the Book of Revelation from the Bible, The Left Behind Series tells the story of the beginning of the end of the world as we know it. The books tell us the details of the rapture of the church & the beginning of the great tribulation. This is the second in the series. Here we meet the beginning of the Tribulation Force with Captain Rayford Steele, his daughter Chloe Steele, Buck Williams & Bruce Barnes. They have been left behind after the rapture of the Christians. Those left behind face the terrible tragedies of natural disasters, plagues, war and famine. We met Rayford Steele in Book #1, he is an airline pilot whose wife trued to warn him of the rapture. He is joined by a senior writer for large newspaper Buck Williams, a left behind minister Bruce Barnes, & his daughter Chloe. They fight against many odds to stand against the enemy of God during this seven year tribulation period. The action & suspense will keep you wanting more. These books are a wonderful rendition of Revelations. They will keep you on the edge of your seat. I fully reccommend them.

This is the second book in the Left Behind series. I had read and enjoyed it previously and wanted a hard bound copy as I was collecting the whole series. It is hard to find the first two books in hard bound original size.

As the second book in the series it is definitly an eye opener. I pray that when the time come for the Rapture I will not be one of those "left behind". The authors share the possibilities with Biblical foundation. I plan of reading the remaining books in the series.

Lahaye and Jenkins have done a marvelous job with their fictionalization of the end time prophecies. The adherence to biblical accuracy is beyond reproach. I would encourage any reader, whether familiar with the book of Revelations in the Bible or not, to read the first book in the Left Behind series. After that then read this book. This is the second book in the series and is predicated on the first. All books in the series build upon prior releases. These books have drama, intrique, and many surprises. You will definately be pleasantly satisified with your reading investment in the series and this book in particular.

I have purchased several things on ebay and ebay.half.com. Over the years my buying experience has been very pleasant, receiving several great items as they were promised. However, my recent purchase of this novel, Tribulation Force, was disappointing. It did not come in condition as promised and I received no response from the seller when I made my concerns.

However, ebay took my complaint and filed it very quickly. I had my money returned after a week of the complaint. I was very happy happy with the service I received from ebay!

This book was a nice follow up to the first in the series, but I thought it lacked as much "edge of your seat" story. I think it was more of a book used to build a foundation for the remaining books. It was necessary to establish the characters more. It was a good story, just not my favorite in the series.
