The Tree Identification Book by George Wellington Dillingham Symonds (1973, Paperback)

this tree identification book is just what i was looking for.i could use this book to identify trees in the field as i am an estimater for a so cal tree service.the only thing that would have made it better was if it was in color.it has a lot of pictures of leaves and bark types that are very good.it does not have all california trees but is very helpful.

The most accurate tree ID for the field...all 4 seasons...twig and bud ID is very comprehensive...vturdy for the field

When a few weeks had past, and I still had not received the book, I emailed the seller. The seller apologized for the delay and within a few days, I received the book. But it wasn't The Tree Identification Book that I had requested; it was The Shrub Identification Book. I'm done with this service.

The tree book was just what I was looking for. I gave it as a Christmas gift to my nephew, who was wanting one so bad. Thank You!
