Trapt [PA] [ECD] by Trapt (CD, Nov-2002, Warner Bros. Records Record Label)

Everyone knows "Headstrong." There are a few more radio friendly songs on this CD and then the other half of the CD is kind of filler. This gives me a mixed impression of this CD. I like to skip the filler songs and I end up with about 6 or 7 songs that I listen to. The singer has a good voice and "Headstrong" is not a good demonstration of it. There are slower, more melodic songs on the CD that allow him to display his talents. This is a good CD, and would have been better if they had cut out the filler songs and released it as an [EP].

I bought this cd for the song "Headstrong" and I couldn't be more thrilled with it!I think that this cd shows their talent as a band.A must buy!

Trapt's first release with "Headstrong" has made them a famous band in recent years. The entire album is full of good songs, some a little slow but still worth listening to. The final song, "New Beginning", is a 9 minute fear-instilled song with dripping water and creaking sounds. All in all, it's an interesting album and is a good listen. The singer is very talented. I saw Trapt in concert when they promoted this album and he sounds excellent both on stage and in the studio. The entire band has great energy and are really devoted musicians.

Music is great love all the songs, Great Band!! They Rock is my one word for this entire Review basically :) Go get it!

I PURCHASED THIS CD AFTER LISTENING TO THE BANDS NEWEST CD,ONLY THROUGH THE PAIN. THE NEW CD WAS SO GOOD, IT BLENDS SOME 80'S AND 90'S ROCK WITH A NEWER ALTERNATIVE SOUND THAT JUST ROCKS!!! I HAD TO TRY OTHER CD'S FROM THIS GROUP AS IT BECAME AN INSTANT FAVORITE IN MY CD CHANGER!!! ALTHOUGH NOT AS GOOD AS THE NEW CD, THIS ONE WAS GOOD ENOUGH TO GET MY STAMP OF APPROVAL. IT HAS SOME GOOD TUNES, AND THE THING I LIKE ABOUT THIS GROUP? THE SONGS ARE EASY TO GET USED TO, AND THE SOUND IS CONSISTANT WITH OTHER ALBUMS THAT THE BAND HAS MADE. I SAY BUY THIS CD, BUT YOU CANNOT MISS TRAPT'S NEWEST--"ONLY THROUGH THE PAIN"

for what i paid for i like the CD. there are three popular songs on this cd. The rest of the CD is okay. I have to listen to it more often to get a feel for the rest of the songs. But the only ones i liked was "echo", "headstrong" and another one. Its a good cd overall and would recommend it to anyone.
