Product Description
Take advantage of Transition's 10BASE2 to 10BASE-T Media Converter switching technology without the cost of recabling coax networks by upgrading to twisted pair and without replacing expensive network interface cards. This converter allows easily and inexpensively to add fiber to your legacy network. It supports up to 24 devices daisy chained on one coax segment per twisted pair segment. With an externally accessible switch, the media converter's termination can be configured to connect it directly to the end of a coax line, on a coax terminal or into an existing segment using a "T" connector.
