love the movie. blu ray is the way to go! the quality is outstanding! i will always buy blu ray movies from now on cause it allows you to watch the movie better than the movie theater. you notice things that you didnt see before. the picture is super clear and with a help of good surround sound system you feel like you are in the movie!

It's pretty hard to miss this week's premiere Blu-ray release, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen may not be as well regarded as the first movie, but the hype train has continued to roll. Still holding out on a possible purchase? A slew of reviews of the Blu-ray edition are available to help you make a choice, so dig in and see what there is. The Dallas Morning News says FX can't turn a bad film into a good one, but were still impressed by the Blu-ray special features, while Blu-ray.com's reviewer had perfect scores the video, audio and supplements of the IMAX edition, calling it "THE one to own" (reports on AVSForum.com also point to a volume difference between editions) Our friends at Cinematical actually preferred the flick at home to the theater experience, citing the thrill of checking out the preparations entailed in making such an explosive movie, plus the ability to pause and take in each set piece individually. DVD Town actually split up review duties between tow people with one on the quality of the flick, and the other on audio, video and extras, finding this flick "the kind of sonic spectacular one can use to impress friends and neighbors who haven't bought into Blu-ray yet."

Having view the movie in the theater, I believe that the Blu-ray edition does the movie justice.Video transfer to Blu-ray is spectacular, as is the soundtrack, though the Transformers theme is not as prominent as played in the first release.. I know Paramount is a relative newbie to Blu-ray, previously committed to the HD format, they still need to work at getting up to speed in the areas of the BD Live and something besides the plain grey discs found in this two-disc special edition. The additional disc features are entertaining and informative with respect to the history of the transformers/autobots. Like most studios some of the features are not high-def, which is an area of improvement to strive for. As for the movie, while not having not as much meat in the plot line as the first Transformers movie, Revenge of the Fallen does make up for the shortfall by providing more special effects, with damage to bridges, sky scrapers and ancient temples as the two groups of mechanical aliens use earth for their battlefield. If you enjoyed the first, you will like this release, especially in Blu-ray. 7.5 Twistoflexes out of 10.

Just like the original it blew me away. The original was explosive and action packed but this one, WOW!!!Revenge of the Fallen probably tripled its explosions, cars, action and the special effects just blew my mind, so realistic, its like they were real...Overall a GREAT movie!!!

Second time i've seen it and I can still watch it all the way through so I would consider this a good movie to own, well dats why i bought the Blue Ray.

The movie keeps you going the complete time. I like the extra disc on it.
The 2nd disc gives you hours of extra footage and behind the scenes stuff.

Must have bluray!!! If you like pirotecnics, on the special features disc of the blu ray there is the making of all the explosions and it is stunning how they go about it and the quality of the picture is next to none!

Only director Michael Bay could have made a film like Transformers: Revenge of the fallen. It's a head-ringing, ear-crunching and ultimately exhausting experience, filled with more than two hours of constant robot destruction.
So let’s talk about the movie. This is absolutely a 4/5 show. The action sequences are fantastic…and there really isn’t a lot of screen time that *isn’t* an action sequence. Yes, some of the scenes are a bit weird but you have to remember that this is a movie franchise that doesn’t take itself too seriously. So in addition to the big transforming robot aliens, Shia LaBeouf’s mom *may* end up eating pot-laced brownies; GO WITH IT!

You also need to look past the humanesque aspects of some of the robot characters. Yes, it doesn’t make sense that the “twins” talk like two members of the Weyans family…and yes, the “doctor” robot acting like the doctor is a little silly…and yes the toy truck robot that eventually humps Meagan Fox’s leg like a dog is a whole lotta WTF…but for whatever reason it all worked, mainly (again) because this isn’t *meant* to be a serious movie…although at the same time, its not a parody either.

This movie will satisfy any long time Transformers fan that grew up with in the 80's like myself. The special FX are mind blowing, and having Megan Fox in short shorts doesn't hurt either!

The biggest flaw this movie is its screenplay. Its a little to complicated which makes the movie overly long in order to complete the story threads (which it doesn't really manage to do). However, if you can somehow ignore the plot issues the action and cgi in the film is off the chart. The individually battle scenes between the robots and the humans are quite a spectacle, unfortunately when you put them all together its a bit of a mess.

Very good movie, if you have watched the first transformers this one is just as good if not better then the first one.

This was a fun movie. If your a fan of the Transformers cartoons and comics then you'll really enjoy the return of a particular "old" aircraft transformer. Don't expect oscar worthy acting, just enjoy the robots.
