Perfect gift or even something for yourself. I am very happy i bought this soundtrack. great songs from great artists. Hard to pick a favourite track from this cd. Possibly weapons of destruction or hunger

I had the original release of this soundtrack and played it often, especially when I was drawing. The music goes well playing the Transformers video games and playing the tunes while watching the original T.V. episodes (with the volume down on the t.V. of course). After looking for this new release for some time, the added tracks are a great addition indeed! No transformer fan should let this slip by them, grab a copy and listen to the awesome tunes straight from one of the Best Animated Movie of all time!

This music is so cheesy it is awesome. The heavy synthesizer music is pure 80's. The tunes are still as fun to listen to now as they were then. Stan Bush is one of the most underrated musicians of all time. He may have made his living composing movie themes, but he was a fantastic singer and guitar player. Long live the 80's.

a must for any transformers fan that grew up in the 80's and saw this movie in theaters. even my kids love it, they love the movie too.

Sony BMG Music Entertainment couldn´t leave the Transformers Movie The 20th Anniversary Edition DVD without a Remastered Soundtrack CD. The Soundtrack features 10 Tracks (songs) from various artists from the Original Soundtrack launched in 1986 plus four Bonus Tracks (commercially unavailable) as the film´s score.

In this soundtrack there are artists like Stan Bush with the cult-hit "The Touch", Vince DiCola with 7 tracks including the Bonus ones, "Weird All" Yankovic, among others. The Transformer Main Theme is played by the Lion and in the Bonus Tracks there´s an alternate version played by Stan Bush and Vince DiCola. All are great songs bringing back that feel and emotion from our youth.

This soundtrack is a great buy. I bought two, one for my brother and another for me. Is a must have for All transformer fan and collectors too. You can also go for the Transformers 2007 Movie Soundtrack CD and the Score CD, so you´ll have all three!!.

La Banda Sonora figura 10 pistas (canciones) de diferentes artistas, de la Banda Sonora Original lanzado en 1986 mas 4 pistas adicionales (NO disponibles comercialmente) como el "Score" (marcador?) del film.

En esta Banda sonora hay artistas como Stan Bush con el hit de culto "The Touch", Vince DiCola con 7 pistas incluyendo las pistas adicionales, "Weird All" Yankovic, entre otros. El tema principal de los Transformers es tocado por Lion y tambien esta una version alterna en las pistas adicionales tocado por Stan Bush y Vince DiCola. Todos son grandes temas que recuerdan ese sentir y la emocion de nuestra juventud.

Esta banda sonora es una gran compra. Yo compre dos, uno para mi hermano y otro para mi. Es un "Debe Tener" para todo Seguidor de los Transformers y tambien para los Coleccionistas. Tambien puedes ir a conseguir la banda sonora de la Pelicula del los Transformers 2007, y el "Score", asi tendras todos las tres Bandas Sonoras!!.

I LOVED the CD! It's a great musical experience and it brings back memories of my childhood. "AUTOBOTS! ROLL OUT!!!!"

I had the record back in the day. This has better sound quality (especially since my bro scratched my record a month or so after I got it LOL) and bonus tracks! I've literally been waiting years for this to be released on CD. Sad, I know, but I'm a fanboy, what can I say!

This has to be one of the best movie soundtracks I've ever listened to or purchased. Great rockin' 80's music. Anyone who like's trendy 80's rock will love it.

I have probably owned eVeRy version of the Transformers Movie soundtrack made in the United States ,RECORD LP , Cassette tape, Compact Disk , you name it I have or once had it.
So when I learned that the new DVD version had a companion CD music score , with bonus unreleased tracks , it was a destined thing that I would purchase this too. The CD cover art features the new 20th anniversary ed. artwork featured with the DVD release.The inset menu booklet contains a mini prologue from composer Vince DiCola ,recounting the way he was hired to do the music score for the film. The CD itself features a new blue monochrome Unicron shaped picture litho art with orange text , and is quite nice compared to the generic nature of the original released CD. All 10 of the previous tracks from the released CD are back in the same order from the original album.Bonus Track 11 is the best reason to buy the new version , Unicron's Medley still sends chills as one of the most haunting themes in the score , you can almost hear the late Orson Welles booming voice and see the giant sphere gobbling worlds for fuel energy. Track 12 -14 rounds out the rest of the un-released goodies , including the remix of the Transformers theme by DiCola. in short this is the best version of the music score released in Northern America , it took 20 years but someone finally got this release right.
