Don Cheadle is Samir Horn, a weapons dealer who’s looking to make a deal with a terrorist group in Yemen when military forces stop the deal and throw all survivors of the bust in jail.(Samir is a former special operations officer.) During his time in jail, Samir befriends Omar (Said Taghmaoui), the right-hand man of Samir’s potential buyer, and Omar soon organizes a jailbreak that springs them along with several of Omar’s men. Samir returns the favor by assisting Omar and his group on a bombing in Paris, but two FBI agents who met Samir in the Yemen jail are hot on his tail to put him away for good. What Omar and the FBI don’t know is that Samir is working undercover – and completely off the books – for a high-ranking US Government official named Carter (Jeff Daniels), and is in fact trying to bring Omar’s group down.The life of a double agent is indeed a fascinating one, and the moral ambiguity that comes with the territory is magnified tenfold when you bring religion into the mix.Samir takes his obligation to God very seriously, which leads to a scene of him very distraught.Clayton will stop at nothing to discover the real truth behind all of this and tracks Samir everywhere he goes to find his anwser.

This was a pretty good movie about the war on terrorism from the other end. The movie kind of had me guessing what his real purpose was in this movie. Great plot, not a lot of action, but a good pace. Worth watching, maybe not owning. This movie also gives a good perspective on the other side of terrorism.

Don Cheadle (Ocean's Thirteen, Reign Over Me and more) stars as Samir Horn an Sudanese/American who is working for terrorists.

The movie is full of twists and turns that at times have you guessing, however most of the movie is pretty predictable.

Cheadle gives a great performance in this movie and shows that he is an actor that should be considered for some awards and should be taken seriously.

Traitor is a good movie, with plenty of action and the final twist at the end is well worth the price of the DVD.

Rated 4 of 5 for a good story line and good acting.

Anyone who likes a good spy movie will love this one.

When I first saw the previews, I was expecting a Bourne Supremacy/Bond film with whoooohoooooo action that makes you say "kill, kill, kill" and gets you all worked up, but this film is more drama/realistic and made me actually think about life instead of tuning it out. The action parts are very satisfying. Don Cheadle was great. If you are expecting something along the lines of The Marine, you will probably be disappointed. It is a little more mature than that. The movie surprised me in its creativity/originality with certain scenes. Overall, it is a drama/thriller/action/spy that I found very satisfying.

Action packed....realistic....and well plotted. This movie portrays realities of an underground terrorist network's attempts to terrorized the western world.

this is a pretty good movie on the war on terrorism. alot of action throughout the movie. don cheadle does a great job in this movie. lots of twists and turns throughout the movie. this one is worth picking up and watching.

I never got my item. The post office delivered an empty package with a stamp on it saying they recieved it empty too. I contacted the seller but he never got back to me at all. Upto this minute, I am still waiting to know the fate of my order.
